Welcome to the RotoGrinders cup o’morning joe. Start your day off right here, as we sort through yesterday’s happenings and take a peek at the upcoming DFS day.

In Case You Missed It

PGA Millionaire Maker – Congratulations to user BrettMarino for taking down the PGA Millionaire Maker over the weekend. Brett bested the field of 125K+ with a single entry won from a $5 satellite. Not only did Brett claim first place, he appears to have selected the perfect lineup. If you had the benefit of hindsight you still couldn’t have beat Brett’s lineup – the best you could do is tie. For a look at Brett’s lineup and some possible logic to his selections, give LeoTPP’s column a read.

Shoutout to the Pears – No, I’m not borrowing Rick Ross’ signature line. This is a shout out to Cal Spears, or as he is known around here, “Cal’s Pears”. Cal is one of the co-founders of this site. He also happens to be a really decent DFS player. Cal took down the FD PFBC Qualifier last night. If you have a funny pears theme gif like these, now would be the time to unleash it.

Other Winners – Cal wasn’t the only Grinder who took home some cash last night. Al_Smizzle finished second in the FD Monster, deejayndachi claimed his seat in the FD Dallas FBC, stevietpfl claimed third in the Rally, and lannilou took down the Line Drive.

Over on DraftKings, dleepi01 claimed third in the Payoff Pitch, versuhtyle claimed fifth, and dean78904 took seventh. STLCardinals84 claimed second in the Perfect Game, and first in the Gold Glove. Last but not least, by far my favorite win of the night goes out to iamgronk63. He ran a 350 team train in the SharpShooter and claimed 15th-365th. Nice work, sir. Dong Report – There were 29 dongs hit yesterday. This tied with opening day for the most in a single day. Of those 29 dongs, Nelson Cruz and Jorge Soler were the only players with double dongs. The longest dong also belonged to Soler, who hit one 434 feet. The shortest dong was JD Martinez at 348 feet. On the opposite end of the spectrum, three pitchers were very generous, as Feldman, McCarthy and Sanchez all allowed three dongs.

On the Menu

NBA Tonight – The DFS world will largely be focused on MLB as there are several huge tournaments across the industry. For the loyal NBA Grinders, tonight is the second to last night of the season. Sadly, this slate only boasts three games which are TOR/BOS, WSH/IND, and LAC/PHX. You can get Notorious’ initial thoughts in his First Look. Later today you can also catch his more detailed thoughts in the NBA Grind Down. The only notable #narrative is an Eric Bledsoe #RevengeGame.

MLB Tonight – The big money to be made tonight is in MLB. There are thirteen games on the schedule and all but one start at 7:05 EST or later. DraftKings is running a $500K Sweet Spot for only $27. First place will walk away with $50,000. If $27 is out of your price range, FanDuel is running a $100K Super Line Drive for only $10. First place will walk away with $10,000. Both sites are also offering their usual assortment of GPPs and leagues at various price points.

Notorious knew you wanted to get started on your research early so he stayed up all night working on the Grind Down. Grab your coffee or get settled in for the day and then get started on research right here. In addition to the Grind Down, you can expect the usual array of content later today. That will include the Daily Pitcher Breakdown, Hitter Breakdown, GPP Plays, and JMToWin’s MLB Edge (premium).

The Bottom Line – With so many games on the schedule I won’t keep you any longer. There are lots and lots of articles for your clicking pleasure. Apparently, everyone except you and I buys their lineups. If we want to stay ahead of the competition we better get started on our research now. Good luck out there tonight.
