Rise & Grind: Wednesday, October 26th
Happy hump day and welcome to the Rise & Grind, the only source of knowledge you’ll need to get you squared away for what this Wednesday has to offer in the world of DFS.
First off is the fourth game of the DFS Showdown: NFL Edition where we will see if Team Morning Grind can shake off their chalky ways and hammer down Team Chalk with some riskier plays.

Then, we will go over what went down last night in the first ever NBA slate of the 2016 season!

If you haven’t ventured into the Daily Marketplace just yet, take a trip there soon. As previously mentioned on the Rise & Grind, Stevietpfl’s Nascar package took home BIG bucks this weekend.
The DFS Showdown: NFL Edition
The last game between Team Morning Grind (Stevietpfl & TheSeigeDfs) vs Team Chalk (Dean78904 & GiantBallofOil) sparked some controversy, not only between the two squads but from Twitter and RG folks as well. Often times GPP players use a bunch of chalk to jump off of. In order to gain an edge on super chalk players, they then go and find low owned players which have big upside to catapult them up the rankings.
This is the strategy that was used by Team Morning Grind in Week 7’s showdown. But was it too much chalk?
With a whopping 5-of-9 spots the same players, Team MG starts to get scrutinized once again for their un-crazy lineup construction, making this contest basically pointless and yawn-like.
This matchup was Matt Jones, A.J. Green & Jack Doyle vs DeMarco Murray, Brandon Marshall & Vernon Davis.
Here are the results of this week’s showdown:
Final Score — Team MG – 155.32 Team Chalk – 134.42, pulling Team MG ahead in the series 3-1.

Tuesday’s Big Winners
As psyched as we all were for the minuscule three-game slate yesterday, imagine the hype for this juicy 10-game slate tonight. Before we dive into that, though, let us take a peek back at last night and see the people who dunked their feet right in by winning big bucks on all three sites.
In the $1 Million Tue NBA Clutch Shot on Fanduel there was a four-way tie with the four winners splitting the 200k first prize. At the top of the four there stood blewcrew.
In blewcrew’s lineup, there was Damian Lillard, who was all over the court last night, compiling 39 real life points along with a bunch of peripherals to give him 54.8 FD points.
