SuperDraft's $125K Red Zone GPP Winning Lineup Week 2 Review

SuperDraft is back with its $125,000 Red Zone GPP for the third week in a row! Like in Week 1, SuperDraft’s $125K Red Zone GPP was arguably the best value in the DFS industry. The overlay was enormous again, with only 56% of the contest filling. I expected the contest to be roughly 60% filled this week, so you won’t want to miss out!
If you aren’t familiar with SuperDraft’s unique Multiplier format and scoring, catch up here.
Essentially, contestants can break free from the restraints of the salary cap and roster anyone they want. Instead of price tags, players are assigned multipliers between 1x-2x.
Not only is there overlay to take advantage of but there’s also a learning curve with the new format. We hope to you give you an edge with our Week 2 review. If you don’t have a SuperDraft account already, then sign up! using the promo code GRINDERS to get a $10 bonus on deposits of $10 or more.
Let’s take a look at Week 2’s winning lineup.

Andy Dalton 1.8x (9%) – Dalton was able to put 38.95 points despite the Bengals offense only putting up 17 points. Dalton threw both touchdowns and managed to surpass 300 yards thanks to some garbage time. Like last week, the winning lineup had a quarterback with one of the highest multipliers and less than 10% owned.
Josh Jacobs 1.7x (41.5%) – Jacobs was one of the chalkiest players on the board. He rushed for 99 yards with no touchdowns or receptions. In hindsight, there were a lot better plays on the board but it didn’t stop waterboydee22 from winning.
Austin Ekeler 1.35x (23.4%) – Albeit less popular than Week 1,Ekeler remained chalky even after his multiplier fell to 1.35x. His multiplier is down to 1.2x in Week 3.
Demarcus Robinson 2x (0.4) – This was absolutely the sharpest play of the week and is the reason this lineup took the top prize of $20K. Knowing Hardman would be chalk, this contestant went with the Chiefs receiver that nobody was talking about. Considering the numbers Mahomes and KC’s offense regularly put up, the play makes a ton of sense and paid off.
Marquez Valdez-Scantling 1.75x (3.2%) – If we’re being results-oriented then this was the worst play of the lineup. Scantling only had 3 receptions and 19 yards against the Vikings, but getting Aaron Rodgers no. 2 WR at 3.2% and a 1.75x multiplier is never a bad idea.
John Ross 1.75x (15.6%) – Ross went off for over 100 yards and at least one touchdown for the second week in a row. This time he did it on only 4 receptions. This was the only receiver stacked with Andy Dalton. Interestingly, not one Bengals opponent was included.
Darren Waller 2x (47%) – Waller had higher ownership than his teammate Josh Jacobs. He didn’t do anything spectacular but he did rack up 6 receptions. I prefer to be a bit more contrarian but with as much overlay as we’ve been seeing at SuperDraft, you can still win despite having two of the chalkiest plays in your lineup.
Saquon Barkley 1.1x (15.8%) – While it’s definitely optimal to go for the high multipliers at the QB and WR positions, RB remains a spot that we can choose top guys like Barkley and McCaffrey.
