SuperDraft's $125K Red Zone GPP Winning Lineup Week 5 Review

SuperDraft

SuperDraft is back with another big GPP. This week it’s the $85K Redzone contest featuring a great payout structure with $8,500 to first place and $5,000 to second.

If you aren’t familiar with SupeDraft’s unique Multiplier format and scoring , catch up here

Essentially, contestants can break free from the restraints of the salary cap and roster anyone they want. Instead of price tags, players are assigned multipliers between 1x-2x.

Not only is there overlay to take advantage of, but there’s also a learning curve for new users.

Let’s take a look at the winning lineup and ownership across the slate from Week 5.

SDwk5review

QB Teddy Bridgewater 1.45x (2.9%) – Bridgewater was extremely low owned despite a great matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bridgewater threw for 314 yards and 4 touchdowns in a breakout game. His 1.45x multiplier dahladino take down the GPP and walk away with $25,000.

RB Aaron Jones 1.4 (20.2%) – At 20% owned Jones became essential to have after putting up the best performance of his career. With Jamaal Williams on the sideline due to a concussion, Jones put up over 100 yard and 4 touchdowns in Dallas. Jones will be a good play going forward as the Packers look to use him on the ground and through the air, especially as long as Davante Adams is out.

WR Michael Thomas 1.1x (10.3%) – dahladino stacked Thomas with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater despite his small Thomas’ small multiplier. It paid off, proving that you don’t always have to go for the receivers with big multipliers.

WR Auden Tate 2x (43.8%) – To no one’s surprise Auden Tate was the most popular play on the slate. Tate was a popular play across the industry but the multiplier format boosted his ownership at Superdraft. Tate’s performance left much to be desired, and fading him would’ve paid off it it wasn’t for a late touchdown for the receiver.

WR Will Fuller 1.65 (25%) – This is one play we got right in our NFL Week 5 Multiplier Plays write-up. All of the talk heading into the week were about Fuller’s air yards. I’m actually surprised Fuller wasn’t higher owned on SD than he was.

TE Jared Cook 1.55x (1.9%) – dahladino added to his Saints stack with TE Jared Cook, who was only 1.9% owned. Cook didn’t go off by any means but 4 receptions and a TD.

Flex Christian McCaffrey 1x (29.2%) – McCaffrey made his way onto another winning GPP lineup and we’re happy to have suggested him. His ownership is going up, rightfully so. His ownership went up by nearly 50% from Week 4 to Week 5.
