2023 Travelers Championship Weather Forecast and Projections
We’re teeing off for the Travelers Championship this week, and the weather looks like it could be a problem.

As usual in my Golf weather forecasts, we’re focusing more on wind than rain. While rain can halt play if it’s heavy enough, it also helps to soften and slow the course, meaning it helps as much as it hurts. With wind, there’s no helpful side; it’s all negative impact. And the impact can lead to dramatic differences in scoring. My goal is always to try and highlight the time frame with the lightest winds, the time with the strongest winds, and to see if there’s a cumulative advantage for one wave over another. You can then use this to your advantage making your picks on DFS sites and sportsbooks.

Travelers Championship Weather Report & Forecast
Round 1 Weather Projection – Thursday, June 22nd
Rain. That’s the problem this week, it’s off and on rain. The good news is that winds look manageable, 5-10mph, but the rain is likely going to be an issue at times.
Round 2 Weather Projection – Friday, June 23rd
We’re basically going to run that forecast back every day, 5-10mph winds with scattered showers and a chance for a storm or two.
Round 3 Weather Projection – Saturday, June 24th
You guessed it, scattered downpours and a 5-10mph wind.
Round 4 Weather Projection – Sunday, June 25th
Again it’s the rain I’m more concerned with than the wind.
Travelers Championship Weather Forecast
As I mentioned in the intro, when it comes to finding a usable and predictable edge for PGA, wind matters a lot more than rain. But in the case of the Travelers Championship, there’s no clear wind pattern, just a mess of rain each and every day. A delay is possible any day, and there’s no clear way in my mind to use weather for a betting advantage. Stay tuned to @KevinRothWx for the latest.
