Weekly RotoGrinders Rankings Update

Welcome to another week of a live look in to see how the RotoGrinders rankings are looking. This week we’ve been able to expand our individual sports rankings to include College Football as well as PGA. We did not include those sports however in the aggregate scoring for the aggregate leaderboard. However, if enough people want to see our aggregate leaderboard methodology change, make sure to leave a comment at the end of this piece and I’ll be sure to include it in next week’s column.

This week we see some familiar faces rising back up. Condia is back with the return of NFL and he’s moved up to #2 in the overall rankings after falling (briefly) to number three. However, at the top of the leaderboard, Maxdalury has seemingly run away with it, and he doesn’t look to be slowing down as he’s been accumulating points at more than double the rate of second place ranked Condia.

Tournament Player of the Year Leaderboard

Notes

The TPOY race is heating up with NFL season starting up and while we haven’t seen any notable million dollar winners among our leaderboard, we do see maxdalury rising to the top after seeing theClone and ehafner trading places all throughout the summer. Maxdalury had a great week 3 of NFL with several near-the-top finishes as well as clinching multiple seats to live finals across the industry. It will be a tight race moving forward to see which players move towards the leaderboard as the final countdown officially begins to the end of the year when we crown our Tournament Player Of the Year

Notes

Maxdalury is closing in on the final month of the MLB season as the overall leaderboard and should be considered the favorite to hold the title as the season draws to a close. Rounding out the top 5 are Birdwings, youdacao, csuram88 and RotoGrinders contributor hoop2410 .

Speaking of seasons that have come to an end, PGA is on a two week break and at the break we stop to take a look at who the leaders for the PGA season are. I’m sure it will come as no surprise to anybody that maxdalury is leading here as well as he almost doubles second place’s point total in this season’s PGA rankings. Rounding out the top five in the standings are SamENole, AssaniFisher, Lowkey, and TeeJayorTJ. Other notables in the top 25 include RotoGrinders Golf experts Notorious, StlCardinals84, as well as former GrindersLive host, alsmizzle.

Notes

In case you thought that Condia was gone and will no longer appear at the top of any leaderboards, think again. Through three weeks of NFL rankings, Condia is currently ranked as #1 with 171,000 points, while maxdalury isn’t far behind with 108,000 points. Expect both of these high rollers to jockey for positioning back and forth all throughout the season with the final results probably jockeying back and forth based on week by week results.

Notes

If you’re a college football fan, hopefully you keep track of this with us throughout the season as we introduce the CFB rankings in this column (obviously, the rankings have been around, but they haven’t been highlighted here before). In our first look into the CFB rankings, it appears that maxdalury is again at the top of the leaderboard with csuram88 a close second behind by only 4300 points. These two are ahead of their nearest competition by a large amount. Elsewhere in the top 25 we can find RG experts stlcardinals84, 3rdDFS, and just outside the top 25 at 29th place db730 and at 33rd headchopper.

Notes

We finish up the month of September with maxdalury taking yet another monthly rankings crown with over half a million points. He’s been on fire and has had tremendous success throughout the industry and across multiple sports. Truly deserving of the success.
