Luis Severino vs New York Mets: $50
Clayton Richard vs Los Angeles Angels: $29
Pitching is very interesting tonight with a lot of studs, but it is tough to fit two of them so we need to find some value out there to go with it. Clayton Richard has been terrible lately, so it seems pretty crazy to play a guy like that tonight, but man is he cheap and I actually like the matchup a decent amount. Not only is the matchup one for me, but the park is one of the better ones as well, so it is worth the risk and the savings to me. Severino hit a rough patch, but he has started to show signs and I think he is going to breakout for the next several starts and into the end of the season. I think people are still scared of him with how bad he has looked, but I am willing to take a shot on him as well and all the upside he brings against the Mets. I really love this combo tonight even though both guys have been rough for the last month or so. You definitely don’t have to play Richard but I think Severino is a lock button and might actually be somewhat low owned with all the upside up top.
