Chris Sale at New York Yankees: $61
Joey Lucchesi vs Pittsburgh Pirates: $30
Felix Hernandez vs Kansas City Royals: $46
Pitching is super simple tonight with us paying up for Sale even though he has a tough test and then finding some savings in the cheap range with Lucchesi or Felix. King Felix has been a tough play all year but one of the best possible spots has to be at home in “The Kings Court” against a weak offense in Kansas City. KC doesn’t strike out a bunch but Felix is very safe especially with the savings he brings to the table and allows you to pay up for Sale and all of his upside. Lucchesi is even cheaper and even though his matchup is somewhat tough we get a very nice ballpark and even more savings. Sale gives us the upside to take a shot at SP2 and that is exactly what my plan is at the pitcher spot. If you really trust the Yankees offense the slate opens up completely if you faded Sale but I see no reason whatsoever to do this with plenty of value at the hitter spot.
