Sale is the first pitcher I’m going with today as long as weather permits. I know it’s only three starts, but he comes into today with a 2.23 SIERA, 34.9% K%, 19.5% SwStr%, and has only a 4.6% BB%. It feels like cheating that he now gets the strikeout happy Orioles. Baltimore is leading the league with a 27.4% K% so far this season and the lineup is just filled with strikeouts. Now that he’s had three starts under his belt he should be stretched out and have a longer leash if they need him to today.
