Sunday, April 22nd

Today we have a large fifteen game slate. Let’s have a look at my favorite plays for tonight.

Standout Arms

Corey Kluber vs Orioles: $60
On this large 15 game slate, I’ll be following the pitching and locking in the ace of the slate. My strategy is simply once again to plug in my favorite two top tier arms and then plug in the best bats I can make work. The first pitcher I’m going with today is the clear top option in Kluber. The dude is a machine (Klubot) and comes into today with a 2.81 SIERA, 11.2% K%, and a 30.3% SwStr%. The best part is the matchup with the Orioles and all the Ks they bring to the table. Baltimore ranks first in the American League in K% vs. right-handed pitching, striking out at a 26.7% clip. Kluber has had no problem getting through these batters throughout his career and pretty clearly brings the highest upside to the table today.
