Zack Greinke vs Padres: $48
I’m probably going to try and make it easy on myself today, with no real aces on the hill and just exploit the best matchups. Not only is Greinke probably the best pitcher on the slate today, but he gets the added upside of a matchup with the Padres. He comes into today with a 3.40 SIERA, 25% K%, and an 11.2% SwStr%. H’s got great control with just 4.5% walks, but has given up a lot of hard contact. Keeping the walks to a minimum should help limit the damage in this one and allow him to rack up some strikeouts on his way to a ceiling performance in this one, as he gets to face the Padres, who rank 2nd in K% (25.7%) and 30th (dead last) in both wOBA and ISO vs. right-handed pitching this season.
