Tyler Glasnow vs Royals: $33
Glasnow’s price sticks out like a sore thumb in this great matchup against the Royals at home. Since joining the Rays, his stuff has looked electric and they’ve actually been stretching him out, as he threw 94 pitches in his last start. He comes into today with a 3.49 SIERA, 30.9% K%, and an 11.8% SwStr%. Since joining the Rays, he has a 3.38 ERA and an 11.6 K/9. Control can always be an issue, but against the free-swinging Royals, I expect him to breeze through this lineup with an efficient performance. The Royals haven’t been as awful as their reputation is against right-handed pitching since the All-Star break, but this is a putrid offense that ranks 27th in wOBA, 25th in ISO, and 26th in wRC+ vs. right-handed pitching this season and gets no help from the large ballpark in Tampa.
