The online sportsbooks will only be available on desktops/laptops and android smartphones and tablets. Due to new regulations set forth by Apple, iOS powered devices will not be seeing any PA online sportsbooks listed in the App Store anytime soon.

Parx Online Sportsbook’s Soft Launch

Rivers Casino is located on Pittsburgh’s North Shore and has a virtual monopoly on the western half of the state. Rivers casino retail sportsbook is ranked number two in the state behind only their sister casino, SugarHouse, who is also owned by Rush Street Gaming. SugarHouse also happens to be the only online sportsbook in Pennsylvania, giving Rivers a distinct advantage when it comes to launching an online sportsbook in Pennsylvania.

Rivers is expected to begin a soft launch phase for their product the week of June 24th as well, though details are not as concrete as what Parx has released. Will will keep youup to date on Rivers’ timetable for its online sportsbook launch.
