49ers vs. Bills Same Game Parlay Picks for Today
The holiday season continues with a snowy showdown in Buffalo. The Bills look to clinch the AFC East, while the 49ers look to stay alive in the NFC West. Brock Purdy will return after missing last weekend’s game against the Packers. The 49ers need their quarterback in a big way, as losses at this point of the season could mean doom for San Francisco.

49ers vs. Bills Same Game Parlay Preview
DraftKings Sportsbook posts the Bills as 6.5-point home favorites in the matchup versus the 49ers. The backdrop will be snowy after Buffalo was piled on throughout Saturday, but the weather appears to be okay for Sunday night. The temperature will be very cold, and the wind will be blowing, but the game shouldn’t see too much additional snowfall. You can check our NFL Weather page prior to kickoff.
ScoresAndOdds has the Bills receiving only half of the bets on the spread throughout the week but a high majority of the betting handle: 76% of money wagered on the spread is with the Bills. Given the 49ers’ struggles, it’s hard to find a case against taking a shot on the Bills on Sunday night.
The Bills will clinch the AFC East with a victory at home and keep the pressure on the Kansas City Chiefs for the top seed in the AFC. The Chiefs wiggled out of trouble against the Las Vegas Raiders, while the Bills continue to take teams apart. A victory on Sunday night would go a long way in keeping the first-round bye alive for Buffalo.
The 49ers are in a far different position this season, as they fight for their playoff life. Throughout the season, the 49ers were favored to win the NFC despite a slow start. Now NFL.com projects the 49ers with only a 29% chance to make the playoffs with a victory on Sunday night. With a loss, they Niners are in big trouble, as they’ll chase multiple teams in their division.
The good news? Brock Purdy will start on Sunday night according to a report by Adam Schefter on Sunday morning. The bad news? Trent Williams and Nick Bosa will not play. The 49ers will face the 3rd-ranked offense in scoring without their best defensive lineman. San Francisco will face a defense allowing a paltry 19.5 PPG without their best offensive lineman. Brock Purdy will have his work cut out for him against a strong defense in uncomfortable weather.
For the Bills, Matt Milano returns as a captain on the defensive side of the football. Meanwhile, 3rd-round pick, DeWayne Carter is questionable at DT along with Keon Coleman at receiver. Dalton Kincaid will not suit up, which means more work for Dawson Knox. Knox caught 4 of 6 targets against the Chiefs last weekend.
The Buffalo Bills are dominating this season because of an excellent defense and their version of Superman — Josh Allen. Allen is now the leader in the NFL MVP clubhouse with respect to betting odds. DraftKings Sportsbook offers Allen at +150 after the big victory against the Chiefs. Another victory against a strong team will only cement those odds until the Bills falter.
Speaking of MVP candidates, Christian McCaffrey was debated throughout last season as an MVP candidate with some of the most gaudy numbers for a running back in NFL history. This season, CMC continues to return to form after his injury and should be a focal point of the 49ers offense on Sunday night. McCaffrey saw 11 carries last weekend in a blowout loss to the Packers. McCaffrey will likely touch the football a lot on Sunday night given the weather and the matchup. The Bills’ defense allows 4.9 yards per rush attempt while shutting down opposing offenses on the outside. The Niners will look to keep Allen off the field with the legs of their best offensive weapon.
Both teams rank in the top 10 in yards per pass attempt and receptions to the wide receiver position. When building our same game parlay, we might want to look on the inside. The Bills allowed 62 receptions to the tight end position through 11 games. George Kittle, anyone?
The Bills’ playoff hopes are all but guaranteed. The 49ers need a victory on the road. Let’s build a same game parlay for Sunday Night Football to sweat along with the wintry action.
Same Game Parlay Picks for 49ers vs. Bills
- Christian McCaffrey 60+ Rushing Yards
- George Kittle Over 3.5 Receptions
- Dawson Knox Over 2.5 Receptions
Christian McCaffrey 60+ Rushing Yards
As mentioned earlier, Christian McCaffrey needs to be a key for the 49ers against a Bills’ defense that suppresses passing offense. The Bills will return Matt Milano, but the winds and temperature necessitate a focus on the ground game.
With Trent Williams unavailable, keeping Brock Purdy upright will be key for the 49ers on Sunday night. A commitment to the running game should keep Purdy in rhythm and open up play action over the middle of the field for George Kittle and company.
Imagine being offered this prop in 2023. We would empty our wallets. Let’s begin our SGP with this number at solid odds.
George Kittle Over 3.5 Receptions
George Kittle should be the other key piece for San Francisco on Sunday night. Kittle has not seen fewer than 4 targets in 2024 and has exceeded this number in all but one start. Against a strong outside passing defense, Kittle might be the path of least resistance for the 49ers’ offense.
Given the influence of the wind and temperature, the shorter passing game is likely going to be a focus for San Francisco. The 49ers will run the football and look to free Kittle with play action. While Kittle is one of the best blockers in the NFL at his position, he has been an active contributor in the receiving game because of the injuries to the San Francisco offense.
I don’t think we see a change on Sunday night.
Dawson Knox Over 2.5 Receptions
Finally, Dawson Knox should receive plenty of attention from Josh Allen on Sunday night. When Dalton Kincaid missed the matchup with the Chiefs, Knox saw 6 targets and caught 4. Without Kincaid and an elite receiving option on the outside for Allen, Knox should see a similar target share. The 49ers do well to stop the running game. We might see plenty of Josh Allen through the air and on the ground.
Dalton Kincaid typically receives more than 5 targets per game from Josh Allen. Some of those looks are going to Dawson Knox on Sunday night.
49ers vs. Bills Parlay Odds
- Christian McCaffrey 60+ Rushing Yards
- George Kittle Over 3.5 Receptions
- Dawson Knox Over 2.5 Receptions
DraftKings Sportsbook offers the following odds:
