- OU 7.5
- Favored WAS -150
Pitchers
- Home Jeremy Hefner ‘s 5.96 K/9 make him a matchup play. A WAS team that has hit 19 HR on the season and is batting .252 is not the matchup you are looking for with a pitcher who sported a plus 6 ERA at home a year ago and has already given up 5 HR on the season in only 10 IP of work. Avoid
- Away Gio Gonzalez got crushed in his last start but that’s how baseball works. He is a worse pitcher on the road but his ERA last year in the Mets’ stadium was a mere 0.69 in 2 starts. The Mets’ offence started the season hot and has kept on rolling. They are batting .279 over the last 7 days with 8 HRs. Still, Gio’s numbers versus them look good on paper and he is the solid favorite to win. There are few other options this morning that have his potential. Target
Batters
- Home Ike Davis has been struggling on the year but he post some decent BvPs versus Gonzalez. David Wright has not been struggling and he draws the nice righty/lefty matchup today. John Buck is hitting lefties at a .313 clip and Ruben Tejada is always a nice value play versus left-handers since he hits lefties at a clip over .300.
- Away When a pitcher is struggling to keep the ball in the park, that puts everyon in play. Danny Espinosa has taken him deep twice in 8 AB. Bryce Harper has hit for the cycle against him in 9 AB. I think he is in a real good spot to produce.

- OU 9
- Favored LAA -108
Pitchers
- Home Garrett Richards has pitched well to start the season and he is a serviceable starter at home but I cannot even began to fathom the idea of recommending him vs. this DET team batting .285 on the season and .287 vs. right-handers. Avoid
- Away Rick Porcello has 2.5 times many ERs on the season than he has Ks. The Angels are hot batting .302 over the last 7 days and .310 at home. Avoid
Batters
- Home Mark Trumbo has been on a tear recently. Josh Hamilton numbers versus Porcello are great. He has 2 HR in 10 AB. Mike Trout and Albert Pujols are always great plays.
- Away 5 of the Tigers starters are batting over .300. They face a pitcher today who has a career ERA of almost 5. You do the math.
Minnesota at Chicago White Sox

Las Vegas
- OU 8.5
- Favored CWS -164
Pitchers
- Home Jake Peavy has been a very reliable pitcher at home and his one start there this year went well. He draws a MIN team turning the corner offensively and loaded with dangerous left-handed hitters. He should get the win in this matchup but it probably will not be clean. Target
- Away Vance Worley has been hit very hard to start the season. He is not adjusting to the AL but even the NYM pts up 9 vs. him in the first inning. Avoid
Batters
- Home Everyone is in play for CWS. I like Conor Gillaspie for the bargain and I would probably take a chance on the lefty Adam Dunn if his price has dropped.
- Away The red hot Joe Mauer draws the righty matchup today. I like him and Justin Morneau today even though their BvPs are not all that great. Trevor Plouffe has a .294 BAA vs. Peavy and could be a nice under the radar pick.

Las Vegas
- OU 8.5
- Favored BAL -123
Pitchers
- Home Jason Hammel does not excite me even though he slated to get the win. He does not strikeout enough. He is giving up to many runs and he is a worse pitcher at home than he is on the road. The Dodgers are batting .287 on the road. Avoid
- Away Hyun-Jin Ryu last start is what the Dodgers’ expect to get from him in the future. He gets another tough draw on the road vs. a hot hitting BAL team batting .262 on the season. His Grind Down remains the same. He has 9.00 K/9 upside but is a gamble. In Play
Batters
- Home I do not like to look at the BvPs for pitchers who have spent a great deal of time in COL because I think they can be misleading. I like the Dodgers two hottest hitters Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford. Both of them get the lefty/righty matchup today.
- Away There is no BvP data on the rookie but I think you can feel safe riding the hot hand of Adam Jones. Matt wieters had a great game yesterday and normally hits lefties well.
