Pitchers
- Home Taking anyone from the Marlins is risky at this point, especially a pitcher. Not only have their pitchers been bad, but they are getting no run support to help their cause. Alex Sanabia is out of luck tonight. Avoid
- Away Mike Leake will likely be everyone’s favorite play tonight and for good reason. Homer Bailey threw a complete game against them last night and while I don’t expect Leake to repeat that performance, you have to love the value that he offers. The Marlins offense is atrocious and Leake should cruise to a win. Target
Batters
- Home Why take a chance on a Marlins hitter when there are so many other options available to you?
- Away Joey Votto is 3/4 with a HR against Sanabia and is one of the few left hand bats on the Reds to target tonight. Look for Shin-shoo Choo to get on base a couple of times, steal a base, and score a run or two. Jay Bruce also makes a good play as he got the day off yesterday.

Pitchers
- Home This game should be quite different than the one yesterday. No wind blowing out tonight so temper your expectations on runs. Jeff Samardzija gets the start tonight and looks to be a decent option against a Rockies club that can struggle on the road. Samardzija has good upside with his K/9 ratio and is a solid sleeper today. In Play
- Away Jon Garland has been the definition of average this season. In almost every start, he will give up 7-10 hits and 3+ runs. While the Cubs aren’t the best offensive team, they should still knock Garland around a bit. Avoid
Batters
- Home Wellington Castillo is one of my favorite dirt cheap players tonight. He is batting .329 against RHP and .373 at home. He gets both of those in his favor tonight. Starlin Castro and Anthony Rizzo have both been playing well and make good options against the soft throwing righty tonight.
- Away The Rockies seem to either score 9 runs or score 0 runs. My guess is that they will be closer to 0 than 9 tonight. Samardzija is a solid young pitcher, but I suppose you could take a hot Cargo who absolutely went off last night.

Pitchers
- Home There is nothing not to love about Shelby Miller tonight. If you are playing in late leagues only, then Miller has to be the top pitcher on the mound. He has been absolutely dominant at home where he has a 1.25 ERA and an incredible WHIP of only 0.550. He also gets to face a struggling Mets offense. If you can only take one pitcher tonight, make it Miller. Target
- Away Just how everything is lining up for Miller to have a great night, everything is lining up for Marcum to get smoked. He has not looked good at all so far this season, he is running into a hot Cardinals offense, and he is on the road. Avoid
Batters
- Home Once again, I really like the Cardinals bats tonight. Carlos Beltran and Allen Craig are both really hot right now and Matt Carpenter has been great against RHP this season. Oh and did I mention they still have Matt Holliday and Yadier Molina?
- Away Just make it easy on yourself and avoid the Mets today.

Pitchers
- Home The over/under in this one seems a bit low too. Barry Enright is not a rotation caliber pitcher and has an ERA over 10 this season. He faces a Royals team that can get hot on any given night, just ask Joe Blanton. Avoid
- Away Wade Davis looked good to start the year but has quickly fallen apart. He has negative fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 starts and his WHIP is creeping up to 2.000. A matchup against the Angels who appear to be heating up is not something I like. Avoid
Batters
- Home Josh Hamilton is really really cheap on a few sites today, specifically Draftstreet and Fantasy Feud. I think he is a must play at that price. Mike Trout also makes a solid play as he just continues to rake and it looks like Albert Pujols is finally joining the party. Don’t be scared to take 3-4 Angels bats tonight.
- Away I think the Royals bats have a good matchup as well. Billy Butler seems to love playing in LA because he has been on fire the last two nights. Continue to ride the hot hand. Eric Hosmer also looks like a good play in the lefty/righty matchup.

Pitchers
- Home Zach Greinke is back from the DL after that broken collarbone. While I love the matchup for Greinke, it is his first game back and it sounds like he will be on a pitch count. If he is cheap, maybe consider taking him, but don’t pay full price for him. In Play
- Away Ross Detwiler is not really a fantasy baseball type of pitcher. He only strikes out a batter every other inning and his upside just isn’t there. He is also a big underdog tonight. Avoid
Batters
- Home Matt Kemp gets my nod as one of the best value plays in OF today. He has always been good against lefties and is riding a nice little hit streak. Look for him to continue that tonight.
- Away Not sure what to expect from Greinke, but I don’t want to take the Nats bats and just hope that he struggles. Avoid
