What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – BOS -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Felix Doubront takes the hill as the huge favorite today but the game features a high OU. Doubront is a pitcher that has high upside and I think he is worth a gamble today for his price even if there is risk involved with the play RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Brandon McCarthy ‘s 5.00 ERA and .310 BAA have a better chance of surviving a nuclear holocaust than they have of escaping this stout BOS offense today. If McCarthy throws a quality start then I am going to finish that Silo that I have been putting off since Y2K. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Left-handed bats are targets but Stack away! RG Stack Rating 9
- Away Paul Goldschmidt hits left-handers very well. Cody Ross does as well. Both those two players have been hot for ARI. RG Stack Rating 4

SEA vs L | SEA BvP | BAL vs L | BAL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – BAL -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Wei-Yen Chen is one of the biggest favorites of the day. He has been a 2.36 pitcher at home and he faces a SEA team that was hot to start July but has cooled as of late. The OU is too high for me so I would only consider him on a multiple pitcher site. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Joe Saunders has a dismal 5.53 ERA and .332 BAA on the road. He is allowing right-handers to bat .323 against him. He did throw a complete game against BAL earlier this year but I would chalk that one up to luck and not skill. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home BAL stack in full effect. Matt Wieters, Adam Jones, Brian Roberts, and J.J. Hardy are your best bets. Wieters has 2 HRS in 5 AB versus Saunders. RG Stack Rating 10
- Away Kendrys Morales, Michael Morse, Michael Saunders, and Justin SMoak all have positive BvPs versus Chen. Michael Saunders has been out of this world hot with 32.75 fp. Kyle Seager, Kendrys Morales, and Justin Smoak have been hot as well. RG Stack Rating 2

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – TAM -210
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Roberto Hernandez is okay at home. H did just throw a complete game and catches a struggling SFO team but I do not trust his upside. Still, he seems a lock to get the win and is highly recommendable on a multiple pitcher site. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Guillermo Moscoso cannot be worse than Barry Zito and he will be a whole lot cheaper. Tam feeds off of left-handed pitching and while Moscoso is not good, he is, at least, right-handed. That’s all I can say for this 6.75 pitcher.RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Stack ‘em High! Stack’em often! RG Stack Rating 8
- Away Jeff Francoeur is 5-13 with 2 HRs versus Hernandez. Marco Scutaro is 12-26 versus him as well. RG Stack Rating 4

WSN vs R | WSN BvP | MIL vs R | MIL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – MIL -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Kyle Lohse at home is one of my favorite plays. He becomes even more enticing when he is facing a young inconsistent pitcher and an offense that struggles on the road. The only problem with him is that his Ks are on the low side. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Taylor Jordan is off to a great start but the fact that he is allowing opponents to bat .293 against him is a little too alarming of a stat for me to ignore. I cannot see him getting the win today and his K totals are too low to consider him otherwise. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Caleb Gindi, Jean Segura, and Carlos Gomez are all batting at a high average versus right-handers. Everyone is playable, though, since Jordan is allowing left-handers and right-handers to bat for a high BAA. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Ian Desmond has been hot for WAS with 24.25 fp over the last 7 days. Jayson werth is 8-25 wth 3 HR versus him as well. RG Stack Rating 3

HOU vs R | HOU BvP | MIN vs L | MIN BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – MIN -138
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home The OU Of this game is way too low. Mike Pelfrey gets the power-up factor of facing HOU but his 5.60 home ERA and .321 BAA are a big cause for concern. I would be more willing to bet on HOU bats the way Pelfrey has been pitching but he has had a decent July with a 3.25 ERA and the Astros give any pitcher GPP winning upside. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Brad Peacock has an 8.07 ERA and 1.76 WHIP on the year. I know MIN offense has been weak but how good do they have to be to hit this joker. RG Start-Ability 1
Batter Grind Down
- Home Peacock is allowing Left-handers to bat .344 versus him so Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer, Clete Thomas, And Oswaldo Arcia are your best plays but everyone is playable today for MIN. RG Stack Rating 9
- Away Jason Castro is the only Astro worth a serious look. If you think Pelfrey wiil implode again at home than consider the Astros a good source of value for your LU. RG Stack Rating 3
