What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – LAD -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Even if Carlos Villanueva did not have a lackluster ERA of 4.33 and K/9 of 6.77, he would still play for the Cubs. He faces one of the hottest hitting teams in baseball today so unless the wind is blowing in at 25 mph, it is probably best to avoid him. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away Zack Greinke numbers take a strong dip on the road but he gets to face a easy opponent today in CHC. CHC was bad to begin the season but they are now in full tank mode. Unless the wind is blowing out at 15 mph then Greinke is your man today. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home Junior Lake, Anthony, Rizzo, and Starlin Castro are the only Cubs worth a look. Castro has positive BvPs. Grienke is allowing left-handers to bat .296 versus him so that is good news for Rizzo and Lake has been productive for a reduced price. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Andre Either, Hanley Ramirez, and Skip Shumaker all have positive BvPs versus Charlie. RG Stack Rating 5

TOR vs L | TOR BvP | LAA vs L | LAA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – LAA -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home C.J. Wilson went from under achieving to fantasy ace in less than2 months. He is one of the best in the league at home with a 2.20 ERA. He runs into a hot TOR team that is loaded with right-handers so he is not a slam dunk today but he has great upside. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Mark Buerhle has been good at home but he has completely fallen apart on the road on the year. I know LAA is a reverse split right-handed team but you have to like their odds today at home versus this left-hander. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Josh Hamilton, Howie Kendrick, Erick Aybar, and Mark Trumbo have positive BvPs versus Buehrle. Mark could easily fall apart so consider everyone worth a look. RG Stack Rating 9
- Away Jose Reyes is batting .310 versus left-handers. Edwin Encarnacion has been hot with 22 fp over the last 7 days. Maicer Izturis is 11-31 versus Wilson. RG Stack Rating 3

TEX vs R | TEX BvP | OAK vs L | OAK BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – OAK -125
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home A.J. Griffin has been solid at home with a 3.59 ERA and .233 BAA. TEX has become one dimensional and is really only potent against left-handed pitching. They could put up some runs but there only productive bats are their right-handed ones. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Derek Holland is a much better pitcher away from TEX and he should benefit from this pitcher’s park. It only helps things that OAK struggles to hit the ball at home. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Alberto Callaspo is 12-35 with 1 HR versus Holland, Yoenis Cespedes has 2 HR in 9 AB, Josh Donaldson is 5-8 with 1 HR versus him. Yoenis Cespedes has been super hot with 28.25 fp over the last week. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away If I was going to take a TEX bat then it would be one of the left-handed ones. They have all become super cheap and have upside. RG Stack Rating 2

NYY BvP | SDP vs R | SDP BvP | |||||||
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – Pick’em
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home If you are looking for an against the grain GPP play then Ian Kennedy record in Petco park is 7-2 with a 3.05 ERA. His season has been dismal, though, and he is allowing left-handers to bat .285 against him on the year. Plus, he is struggling with the long ball. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Phil Hughes turns into a force on the road with a 3.02 ERA. His stats should get a boost today from this park and he is capable of big games. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Hughes is allowing left-handed bats to hit .296 against him. Yonder Alnoso is the best play but SDG offers value. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away Break out you left-handed Yankees bats for a reunion tour. I think Robinson Cano offers value and is worth a look either way. RG Stack Rating 6

ATL vs L | ATL BvP | PHI vs L | PHI BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – PHI -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Cliff Lee home ERA is a 3.97 and he has been a 6.05 pitcher here in July. He catches an easy opponent on the hill and should get the win today. Plus, his numbers will get a boost from and ATL team that has recorded the second most Ks on the year but he is running Ice Cold and ATL is running hot. The line is set at 7.5 now but it open at 9 so Vegas has no faith in Lee to get things done. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away I like the fact that Alex Wood is throwing around 100 pitches. His numbers are good if he can get the innings and it look like he will. PHI offers a dream matchup and he is playing in front of the hottest team in baseball. It is hard not to look at him for his price even against Lee. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Carlos Ruiz is crushing left-handed pitching. I do not trust this PHI offense right now but f you think they could get to the young arm than consider everyone playable. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Justin Upton, Jason Heyward, Freddie Freeman, and Chris Johnson have all produced over 30 fp over the last 7 days. Brian McCann and Andrelton Simmons have produced over 20 in the last 7. Brian McCann, Dan Uggla and Justin Upton have positive BvPs versus Lee. RG Stack Rating 4
