What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – SEA -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Erasmo Ramirez is one of my favorite plays this morning. He got hit hard by CLE and BOS but MIN is a much easier opponent. They are letting him pitch so the potential for a big game is there. MIN is batting .229 on the road, .239 versus right-handers, and .211 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Kyle Gibson has the same upside but he is not facing a weak opponent. SEA is first in the league in runs scored in July. They have looked like whole different team and Gibson has been crushed by lesser opponents than them. SEA is batting .251 at home, .249 versus right-handers, and .220 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Load’em up boys. RG Stack Rating 8
- Away I could be wrong about the Kid. If you think I am then consider everyone playable. Afterall, what’s more likely to happen, the kid pitches a shutout or MIN hangs him for 7 ER? RG Stack Rating 6

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – ARI -178
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Patrick Corbin ‘s 2.31 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 12-1 record are hard to ignore. He has been rock solid at home. SDG has come to life offensively as of late but Corbin’s numbers speak for themselves. SDG is batting .255 on the road, .253 versus right-handers, and .264 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
- Away Tyson Ross threw about 80 pitches in his last start and I bet will se around the same total today. He has been a 4.22 pitcher on the road this year but splits are always deceiving for relievers because of the limited amount of IP. Still, ARI is not the place you want to gamble on a player with limited upside. ARI is batting .254 at home, .256 versus right-handers, and .278 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
Batter Grind Down
- Home Paul Gomdschmidt and Martin Prado have both produced over 30 fp in the last 7 days. Wil Mieves, Endy Chavez and Didi Gregorius are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away I talked about Chase Headley yesterday so I will not repeat myself today. If you are going to play the fade then chose a right-handed bat because Corbin is holding left-handers to a .156 BAA. RG Stack Rating 2

MIL vs R | MIL BvP | COL vs R | COL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – COL -175
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jhoulys Chacin is the heavy favorite today and has pitched well in COL. It is hard for me to pull the trigger on any starter in Coors Field but Chacin should get the win today. MIL is batting .250 on the road, .254 versus right-handers, and .249 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Donovan Hand is a long reliever making a spot start. This spot start comes in Coors Field. There is very little upside in the play and a high percentage chance of disaster. These are not the kind of bets you want to be making. COL is batting .276 at home, .267 versus right-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
Batter Grind Down
- Home Left-handers are batting .316 versus Hand so Carlos Gonzalez (if he plays)and Michael Cuddyer look very attractive. Troy Tulowitzki is killing the ball at home. Consider everyone worth a look and entertain the idea of a stack. RG Stack Rating 8
- Away Norichika Aoki is 3-5 with 2 HRs versus Chacin. Aoki, Carlos Gomez, Caleb Gindi, and Jonathan Lucroy have all been hot for MIL. RG Stack Rating 6

STL vs R | STL BvP | ATL vs R | ATL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – STL -115
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Kris Medlen has a very nice home ERA of 3.26 but his 1.38 WHIP and .285 BAA are a little too scary for me to take him versus this great STL club. Plus, he is a reverse split pitcher who is allowing right-handers to bat .301 and STL is a revers split team as they are right-handed heavy and hit right-handers at a much better clip. STL is batting .281 at home, .284 versus right-handers, and .228 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Shelby Miller is not the same pitcher on the road as he is at home but it is hard to ignore his upside versus an ATL team that has recorded the 2nd most Ks in the league. ATL is batting .258 at home, .252 versus right-handers , and .236 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home Dan Uggla has been hot over the last 7 days. Freddie Freeman and Brian McCann are both hitting right-handers a t a high clip. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away All of the STL starters hit right-handers at an above average clip. The low OU is real but someone on STL will have a solid game. RG Stack Rating 4
