• Home You will not find much bigger favorites tonight then Wade Miley is against the Cubs. He has put together a great July with a 2.13 ERA and the Cubs are not that great of a road team but I am drawn to his lackluster home ERA which tempers my expectations a little. Still, he is a great play on paper. CHC is batting .233 on the road, .234 versus left-handers, and .255 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7

• Away Carlos Villanueva has yet to throw over 6 IP or 100 pitches in any of his first 3 starts since joining the rotation. I would like to see him do that once before I will consider him. ARI is a tough place to play on the road. They are batting .252 at home, .257 versus right-handers, and .252 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2

• Home Paul Goldschmidt and Martin Prado have been hot for ARI. Left-handers are batting .285 versus CV. Cody Ross is 3-8 with 2 HRs versus him. RG Stack Rating 5

• Away Junior Lake has been super hot with 30.25 fp over the last 7 days. He is also batting over .500 versus left-handers. Anthony Rizzo has been hot as well with 21.75 fp and Miley is a reverse split player who is allowing left-handers to hit .326 versus him. • Home Dan Straily is favored by Las Vegas. They have a lot of faith in him that I do not. He is only margianly better at home and this LAA team owns a .296 BAA versus him. He has had a fantastic July if you believe in the trending upward approach. Do not be caught riding on the stage-coach that turns into a pumpkin at midnight. This start could be midnight for Straily. • Away C.J. Wilson should get a little help from this park and the fact that OAK is not the same offense team at home as they are on the road. There are pitchers that are having a good July and then there is Wilson with his 0.82 ERA for the month. His road ERA is a shade over 4 but he has had some success versus OAK this year. OAK is batting .238 at home, .240 versus left-handers, and .212 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8

Batter Grind Down

• Home OAK is batting a mere .175 versus Wilson with Ypenis Cepedes being the only bright spot. He is 4-11 versus Wilson. Josh Donaldson and Nate Freiman are both batting over .300 versus left-handers RG Stack Rating 2

• Away Albert Pujols, Mark Trumbo and Mike trout have great BvPs versus Straily all 3 have been producing over the last 7 days. The OU is cause for concern so I would not over do it, though. RG Stack Rating 4

• Home Hisashi Iwakuma is very good in Safeco Field. He actually is the kind of pitcher that people thought Joe Blanton was there. His 2.69 home ERA is among the best and he draws a MIN team that has struggled at the plate all year. MIN is batting .231 on the road, .240 versus right-handers, and .212 over the last 7 days. • Away Kevin Correia has been awful on the road and SEA actually has been pretty decent at home. SEA looks like a different offense team so far here in July. They rank 2nd in the league in runs scored for the month. SEA is batting .251 at home, .231 versus right-handers, and .212 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3

• Home Brad Miller, Mike Zunino, Michael Saunders, and Kendrys Morales have all been producing for SEA. All offer value. SEA as a team is batting .316 versus Correia so consider everyone playable RG Stack Rating 6

• Away MIN has more Ks than hits versus Iwakuma and own a team BAA of .162 versus him. Since no one is hot, this one has lat-up written all over it. RG Stack Rating 1

• Home There are a ton of good options a pitching tonight. Zack Greinke get the nod in game that features the lowest OU of the evening, a fact that always draws my eye. He is another great pitcher at home with a 2.12 ERA and has been on a roll as of late but CIN has been hot and is known to eat up right-handed pitching. CIN is batting .254 on the road, .255 versus right-handers, and .308 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8

• Away He is normally a very steady pitcher but Mat Latos had very bad July. His numbers do not dip that much on the road but this LAD team is super hot and he is super cold so that is enough for me to look the other way. LAD is batting .256 at home, .255 versus right-handers, and .324 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6

• Home The entire team has been hot so take your pick. The OU is very low so I would not over do things but I think this game goes over easily. Andre Either 7-21 with 1 HR is the most notable set of BvPs. RG Stack Rating 4

• Away If you are playing the fade then Shin-Soo Choo is 10-36 with an HR versus Greinke RG Stack Rating 2
