NBA Player Props – Nuggets vs. Suns, May 11, 2023

Kevin Durant o46.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115), BetMGM

We were hooked on this prop in Game 5, but the read was good. It is not often that Kevin Durant will shoot 6-for-9 from the free throw line or go an entire game without connecting on a shot from beyond the arc. Tonight, the Phoenix Suns return home with their season on the line. Durant has played at least 42 minutes in each of his last four trips to the hardwood and figures to see a very similar workload again this evening. In two home games in this series, Durant has scored 39 points and 36 points, respectively, while posting 17 combined rebounds and assists in both of those games as well. Take the over here.

Jock Landale o7.5 points (-140), BetMGM

Simply, this line at BetMGM makes little sense. We are seeing a -140 price tag on MGM for over 7.5 points compared to a -145 price tag for over 8.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook. Jock Landale has only scored eight points once in the first five games of this series against the Denver Nuggets, but the absence of Deandre Ayton tonight makes it likely that Landale gets an extended run, due to his 6’11’’ frame. If he sees north of 20 minutes in this contest, he has a great chance to hit the over in this spot.

NBA DFS Pick’em

Aaron Gordon more than 14.5 points, PrizePicks

In a surprising turn of events, Jamal Murray has been ruled out for tonight’s Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns. According to props.cash, Aaron Gordon has eclipsed this market number in seven consecutive games played with Murray on the sidelines, and 18 of his last 22 games without Murray dating back to last year. Gordon figures to see plenty of volume this evening, which should give him more than enough opportunity to get the job done.
