NBA Player Props, April 7, 2023
- LeBron James o7.5 rebounds
- Anthony Davis 12+ rebounds
- D’Angelo Russell more than 8.0 rebounds + assists
LeBron James o7.5 rebounds (-128), FanDuel
We ran this exact same play two days ago – LeBron James had zero rebounds at the half, but still managed to cash us out. Entering play, LeBron James has eclipsed this market number in 21 of his last 27 games played. In that span, he has only two games in which he has recorded fewer than seven rebounds, indicating that he has been consistently competitive at this market number. According to props.cash, nine of the last 13 forwards to have a rebound prop released against the Phoenix Suns have hit the over. In a contest with major playoff implications, expect James to be active on the glass once again – take the over.
Anthony Davis 12+ rebounds (-150), FanDuel
Anthony Davis has only cleared this market number in three of his last 10 games played, but there is reason to believe that he has a good chance to get there tonight. Yesterday, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets, which secured them the 4-seed in the Western Conference playoff picture. As a result, it would not be surprising in the slightest if Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Chris Paul (or any combination of these four players) end up sitting on Friday night. Assuming Phoenix rests a few of their starters, Davis should face little resistance on the boards in this spot. He should have plenty of opportunities on the glass if Phoenix is short-handed on offensive talent in this game. Wait to lock-in closer to tip-off if you would prefer to have confirmation of this assumption.
NBA DFS Pick’em
D’Angelo Russell more than 8.0 rebounds + assists, PrizePicks
In his last 28 games played, D’Angelo Russell has recorded at least eight rebounds plus assists on 19 occasions. Only twice in that span has he recorded fewer than seven rebounds plus assists, indicating that he has been consistently competitive at this market number each time that he has taken the floor. Similar to his teammates mentioned above, Russell should have a favorable matchup tonight against a Phoenix team that has little incentive to put their regulars in uniform on Friday. Expect Russell to continue filling the stat sheet in these two departments.
