NBA Player Props, February 24, 2023
- Chris Paul o9.5 assists
- Nikola Vucevic o11.5 rebounds
- Kyle Kuzma o6.5 rebounds
Chris Paul o9.5 assists (-135), DraftKings
Since January 22, Chris Paul is averaging 10.5 assists and 17.8 potential assists across a span of 13 games played. In seven home games during that time period, Paul is averaging 10.6 assists and 18.0 potential assists. In four games played with Devin Booker since he came off of the injury report, Paul has 12 assists, nine assists, 19 assists, and 11 assists. Tonight, Paul gets a favorable matchup against an Oklahoma City Thunder team that ranks 24th in opponent assists per game since January 17. This is a great spot to target the over on Paul’s assists.
Nikola Vucevic o11.5 rebounds (-138), FanDuel
According to props.cash, Nikola Vucevic has eclipsed this market number in 32 of his 59 games played overall this season, including 21 of his last 30, and eight of his last 10 trips to the hardwood. At home this season, Vucevic is 17 for 29 to the over, including eight for 10 to the over in his last 10 games played in the Windy City. In that span, he has zero games with fewer than 11 rebounds, establishing a competitive floor for him in this spot on Friday evening. Tonight, Vucevic gets a favorable matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, which rank 24th in rebound percentage and 19th in opponent rebounds per game in seven contests since Kyrie Irving last played. On February 9, Vucevic had 17 rebounds and 26 rebound chances against the Nets. The math makes sense here, take the over and live with the result.
Kyle Kuzma o6.5 rebounds (-130), DraftKings
In 53 games played this year, Kyle Kuzma has hit the over at this market number 33 times, including 17 of his last 30 games played, and seven of his last 10 overall. Playing at home, Kuzma has hit the over at this market number in 18 of his last 21 contests, including eight of his last 10 games in his home gym. In two games against the New York Knicks this season, Kuzma has a 7-rebound performance and a 13-rebound performance – both games in which Mitchell Robinson was on the floor for the Knicks. Kuzma is unquestionably one of the most frustrating players in the NBA to trust with a wager, but the math strongly supports taking the over in this spot.
