NBA Player Props, February 3, 2023
- Bojan Bogdanovic o21.5 points
- Deandre Ayton to record a double-double
- Damian Lillard u8.5 assists
Bojan Bogdanovic o21.5 points (-122), FanDuel
In 49 games played this season, Bojan Bogdanovic is leading the Detroit Pistons in scoring, averaging 21.4 points per contest. Since January 2, he has been even better, averaging 23.3 points across a span of 11 games – shooting an efficient 50.3% from the field and 44.1% from beyond-the-arc. According to props.cash, Bogdanovic has eclipsed this market number in six of his last 10 games, with only one game of fewer than 18 points during that stretch. Facing a Charlotte Hornets team that ranks 24th in defensive efficiency and 22nd in opponent three-point percentage across their last 16 games, Bogdanovic’s points prop is a worthwhile risk for bettors on Friday.
Deandre Ayton to record a double-double (-150), DraftKings
Since January 4, Deandre Ayton is averaging 12.3 rebounds on 19.1 rebound chances per game, with little competition from his teammates on the boards. Across his last 10 games, Ayton has recorded a double-double seven times, and has only one game of fewer than eight rebounds. During that stretch, he has never had back-to-back contests without recording a double-double. After playing only 27 minutes on Wednesday in a blowout loss to the Atlanta Hawks, Ayton is rested and is likely to be aggressive on the glass this evening. Trust him to get the job done in this spot.
Damian Lillard u8.5 assists (-140), DraftKings
Entering play on Friday, Damian Lillard is averaging 7.4 assists in his 39 games played for the Portland Trail Blazers. According to props.cash, he has only eclipsed this number in 3-of-17 games that he has played on the road this season, including only 1-of-9 road contests since December 19. Tonight, he has a difficult matchup against the Washington Wizards, which allowed the second-fewest opponent assists per game during the month of January. Factoring in that role players are less effective away from home, this is a great spot to take an under on a premier player.
