NBA Player Props, January 27, 2023

Klay Thompson o3.5 three-pointers made (-125), PointsBet

According to props.cash, Klay Thompson has made at least three shots from beyond-the-arc in 24 of his last 30 games played, meaning that this is a number within reach for Thompson on a nightly basis. Since December 27, Thompson is 7-for-10 to the over at this market number, with six games of at least five three-pointers made. Playing on the road this season, the Toronto Raptors are 15th in opponent three-point attempts allowed and 19th in opponent three-point percentage. Expect a strong performance from Thompson this evening.

Evan Mobley o8.5 rebounds (-125), FanDuel

In Evan Mobley’s last 18 games played, he has only eclipsed this market number four times. However, there is good justification for the high line on his rebounds prop tonight. Across the last 30 days of action, the Oklahoma City Thunder rank 24th in rebound percentage and 25th in opponent rebounds per game. Though some bettors might also point to the fact that Mobley is on the second night of a back-to-back as a concern, he has collected at least eight rebounds in each of his last six contests played on zero days of rest – including four games of at least nine rebounds. After playing only 33 minutes in yesterday’s victory over the Houston Rockets, Mobley should have enough stamina to give bettors a good chance to cash a ticket in this spot.

Pascal Siakam o7.5 rebounds (-135), MGM

If there is one thing that is certain with the Toronto Raptors, it is that they will play their starting five heavy minutes, regardless of the score. On Tuesday, Pascal Siakam played 35 minutes, despite the fact that the Raptors held a comfortable lead for the majority of the second half against the Sacramento Kings. On Friday, bettors can once again expect Siakam to 35-plus minutes against a Golden State Warriors team that ranks 14th in rebound percentage and 17th in opponent rebounds per game since Stephen Curry returned to the floor on January 10. According to props.cash, Siakam has collected at least seven rebounds in nine consecutive games and 24 of his last 30 games overall. This is a favorable matchup for Toronto on the glass, which should afford Siakam ample opportunity to hit the over here.
