NBA Player Props – Lakers vs. Nuggets, May 18, 2023
- Jamal Murray o25.5 points
- Anthony Davis o12.5 rebounds
- LeBron James less than 20.5 field goal attempts
Jamal Murray o25.5 points (-105), BetMGM
We attacked this play on Tuesday night and had success, so we see no reason not to run it back again for Game 2. In Game 1, Jamal Murray had 31 points on 20 shot attempts, once again delivering elite volume for bettors. According to props.cash, Jamal Murray has now eclipsed this market number in 7-of-12 home games to begin these playoffs. During the regular season, Murray averaged 1.6 points per game more at home than he did on the road. Murray also shot the ball better from the field and from beyond the arc at home compared to on the road during the regular season. Take the over here again on Thursday.
Anthony Davis o12.5 rebounds (-125), BetMGM
In Game 1, Anthony Davis had only 10 rebounds. Still, he led the Los Angeles Lakers in rebound chances, showing once again that he owns the primary responsibility on the glass for his team. During these playoffs, Davis has eclipsed this market number eight times in 14 games played. During the regular season, Davis had two games against the Denver Nuggets in which he collected at least 14 rebounds. Defensive adjustments ahead of Game 2 should lead to more missed shots for the Denver Nuggets, which should lead to more rebound chances for Davis – take the over in this spot.
NBA DFS Pick’em

Feel free to skip this write-up if you are a loyal reader of these articles – we are running back this look again for the RotoGrinders community. We recommended this play ahead of the series opener – LeBron James took only 16 shot attempts, despite scoring 26 points. In the first round, we recommended this play six times against the Memphis Grizzlies – James attempted 20 field goals or less in five of those games. In the second round, we recommended this play six times – James attempted 18 field goals or less four times. Going back even further, James has attempted 21 field goals or less in 15 of his last 19 playoff contests since the 2020-2021 campaign. Run it back team.
