NBA Player Props, March 20, 2023

Terry Rozier o22.5 points (-105), BetMGM

Playing at home this season with LaMelo Ball out of the lineup, Terry Rozier has scored at least 22 points in 12 of 16 contests. However, he has scored exactly 22 points six times during that span, which creates a little bit of doubt as to whether he can hit the over in this spot on Monday. Tonight, he gets an extremely favorable matchup against the Indiana Pacers, which rank 30th in defensive efficiency, 29th in opponent field goal percentage, 16th in opponent three-point percentage, and 25th in opponent free throw attempts allowed per game across the last month. According to props.cash, 14 of the last 17 guards to have a points prop released against the Pacers have hit the over. Trust Rozier to get the job done in this spot.

Buddy Hield o4.5 rebounds (-128), FanDuel

Per CourtIQ, Buddy Hield is averaging 6.1 rebounds per 36 minutes of action this season when Tyrese Haliburton is off of the floor. In his most recent matchup, Hield had only three rebounds against a Philadelphia 76ers team that is extremely tough on the glass. Tonight, he gets a much more favorable opportunity against a Charlotte Hornets team that ranks 21st in rebound percentage and 22nd in opponent rebounds per game across the last 30 days. According to props.cash, 16 of the last 26 guards to have a rebound prop released against the Hornets have hit the over. This is a great spot to invest in the over on Hield’s rebounds.

R.J. Barrett o18.5 points (-120), BetMGM

Entering play on Monday, R.J. Barrett has eclipsed this market number in six of his last seven contests, with his lone miss in that span coming against the Los Angeles Clippers. During the month of March, Barrett is attempting a season-high 17.8 field goal attempts per game, including four games with at least 22 shot attempts. He has also matched a season-high in free throw attempts per game during March, which could be of particular importance on Monday against a Minnesota Timberwolves defense that has allowed the second-most opponent free throw attempts per game across the last month of action. If Barrett has at least 15 attempts from the field this evening, he should be extremely competitive at this number – take the over.
