NBA Player Props – 76ers vs. Nets, April 20, 2023
- Joel Embiid o29.5 points
- Royce O’Neale o4.5 rebounds
- Tobias Harris less than 14.5 points
Joel Embiid o29.5 points (-120), FanDuel
In Game 1 of this series, Joel Embiid had 26 points on only 15 field goal attempts in a blowout win. In Game 2, Embiid took only 11 shots but still scored 20 points. Tonight, the Philadelphia 76ers will play their first road game of the series, which should require more offensive assertiveness from their leading scorer. During the regular season, Embiid led the NBA in scoring, averaging 33.1 points per game. In 30 road contests, Embiid averaged 32.3 points on 19.7 field goal attempts. Expect him to be aggressive this evening, which should give him every opportunity to get the over in this spot.
Royce O’Neale o4.5 rebounds (-120), DraftKings
In the series opener, Royce O’Neale had only three rebounds. However, O’Neale had a much stronger performance on the glass in Game 2, securing six rebounds on nine rebound chances. Tonight, the Brooklyn Nets will play their first home game of the series, which should give this defense an opportunity to collect even more rebounds if Philadelphia’s shooting percentages suffer at all. Expect O’Neale to be the beneficiary of those extra rebound chances – take the over.
NBA DFS Pick’em
Tobias Harris less than 14.5 points, PrizePicks
During the regular season, Tobias Harris averaged 15.1 points per game on 50.8% shooting from the floor in 37 home games. On the road, Harris averaged only 14.2 points per game on 49.3% shooting from the field. Harris’ three-point percentage was 40.1% at home, compared to 37.5% on the road. According to props.cash, Harris eclipsed this market number in only 18 of 37 games played this season when playing away from home. Expect him to struggle with his efficiency on Thursday night, which should result in a lower-scoring output from him.
