NBA Player Props, March 25, 2023

Kawhi Leonard o27.5 points (-120), BetMGM

According to props.cash, Kawhi Leonard has eclipsed this market number five of his last six games played with Paul George in street clothes. In his lone miss, he scored 24 points against the Denver Nuggets, which own the best record in the Western Conference as of this writing. Tonight, Leonard gets a favorable matchup against a New Orleans Pelicans defense that has struggled mightily to defend opposing forwards of late. Leonard is most aggressive from the mid-range, an area of the floor which New Orleans ranks 16th in opponent field goal percentage across the last 30 days. Leonard should have more than enough volume to be competitive at this number on Saturday. In a must-win game for the Clippers, he has little excuse to fall short here.

Tyler Herro o2.5 three-pointers made (-130), DraftKings

According to props.cash, Tyler Herro has eclipsed this market number in 34 of 60 games played this season, including eight of his last 11 contests. In his last 11 games, he has yet to record fewer than two three-pointers made, indicating that he has been competitive at this number each time he has taken the floor. Since February 10, Herro has only one game in which he has attempted fewer than six shots from beyond the arc. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a Brooklyn Nets defense that ranks 25th in opponent three-point percentage across the last month of action. They have been particularly inept defending the corner three – ranking 30th in opponent three-point percentage from that area of the floor in that span. Expect Herro to have high volume once again on Saturday – trust him to get the job done in this spot.

Jimmy Butler o24.5 points (-110), FanDuel

During the month of March, Jimmy Butler is averaging 26.8 points per game. In his last nine trips to the hardwood, he has eclipsed this market number six times, with zero games of fewer than 23 points. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a Brooklyn Nets team that ranks 25th in opponent field goal attempts per game in the restricted area and 22nd in opponent field goal attempts per game in the paint across the last 30 days. Butler is averaging 14.0 field goal attempts per contest this year, 9.7 of which are coming in the restricted area or the paint. Expect him to be aggressive against Brooklyn’s defensive vulnerabilities tonight – take the over.
