NBA Player Props – Playoffs, April 23, 2023
- Karl-Anthony Towns o8.5 rebounds
- Stephen Curry o4.5 three-pointers made
- Klay Thompson more than 4.5 three-pointers made
Karl-Anthony Towns o8.5 rebounds (-110), BetMGM
In Game 1, Karl-Anthony Towns secured 10 rebounds in only 30 minutes of action. In Game 2, we took the over at this same market number and watched Towns secure a dozen boards with 34 minutes of playing time. Towns’ minutes increased even more in a pivotal Game 3 as the Minnesota Timberwolves attempted to fight-off a 3-0 deficit, but to no avail. Simply, Towns is a good bet for 40 minutes on Sunday night in a competitive game script as the Timberwolves look to extend their season by at least one game. His 15.7 rebound chances per contest are second on the team, trailing only Rudy Gobert – establishing a safe floor of opportunity for him in this spot. Take the over as we look to cash on this prop once again.
Stephen Curry o4.5 three-pointers made (-130), PointsBet
In each of the first three games of this series, Stephen Curry has attempted at least 13 shots from beyond the arc – making six three pointers in two of those three games. In Game 4, Curry gets his favorite shot creator back on the floor with Draymond Green returning from his one game suspension. The Sacramento Kings continue to be woefully incapable of slowing down Curry and the Golden State Warriors from the perimeter in this matchup. Expect Curry to continue to be aggressive in this spot. He should have every opportunity to hit the over here.
NBA DFS Pick’em
Klay Thompson more than 4.5 three-pointers made, PrizePicks
In Game 1 and Game 2, Klay Thompson had nearly identical stat lines – scoring 21 points and making five three-pointers in both contests. On Thursday, Thompson was surprisingly inefficient in Game 3 at home, shooting only 3-for-10 from deep and scoring a meager 13 points. The output was particularly unexpected for Thompson at home, where he averaged 24.4 points per game and 4.9 three-pointers made during the regular season. In a pivotal Game 4, trust that Thompson will have a much more productive day at the office.
