NBA Player Props, March 26, 2023
- Kyrie Irving o24.5 points
- Donovan Mitchell o26.5 points
- Darius Garland o20.5 points
Kyrie Irving o24.5 points (-111), Caesars
Entering play on Sunday, Kyrie Irving has eclipsed this market number in 21 of his last 30 contests, according to props.cash. During the month of March, Irving is averaging 30.6 points on 20.9 shot attempts per game, scoring at least 27 points in all but one outing. Ahead of tip-off today, the Mavericks own the 11th spot in the Western Conference standings, meaning that they are currently on the outside of the play-in tournament to qualify for a postseason position. Expect Irving to continue to be aggressive in this matchup, similar to his recent performances – take the over.
Donovan Mitchell o26.5 points (-120), BetMGM
Donovan Mitchell is coming into today’s action fresh off of back-to-back 31-point performances in which he attempted 22 and 24 field goals, respectively. On Sunday, he gets an incredibly favorable matchup against the Houston Rockets, which rank 30th in defensive efficiency, 29th in opponent three-point percentage, and 16th in opponent free throw attempts per game across the last month of action. Mitchell is averaging 29.0 points per game during the month of March, as he does his part to help the Cleveland Cavaliers make a push for the no. three seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Blowouts are a risk in every NBA game. If the Rockets can simply keep this contest competitive into the fourth quarter, Mitchell should have every opportunity to hit the over in this spot.
Darius Garland o20.5 points (-120), FanDuel
Similar to his teammate, Darius Garland has an incredibly favorable matchup on Sunday against the Houston Rockets. Houston has been particularly vulnerable against opposing backcourts of late, allowing 30 points to Luke Kennard, 25 points to Desmond Bane, 30 points to Stephen Curry, 29 points to Klay Thompson, and 26 points to C.J. McCollum in the past week alone. Entering play, Garland has eclipsed this market number in 18 of his last 29 games overall, including six of eight games played this year on two days of rest. Garland is averaging 23.4 points on 49.7% shooting at home this season, compared to 20.1 points on 43.8% shooting on the road. Trust him to get the job done on Sunday – take the over on his points prop.
