NBA Player Props, April 5, 2023

James Wiseman o14.5 points (-106), FanDuel

James Wiseman has eclipsed this market number only once in his last 10 games, but he has scored exactly 14 points in five of those contests and only twice recorded fewer than 12 points. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, which rank 22nd in opponent field goal attempts allowed in the restricted area and 22nd in opponent field goal attempts allowed in the paint across the last 30 days. Since joining the Detroit Pistons, nearly 90 percent of Wiseman’s field goal attempts have come in the restricted area or the paint. Expect him to have enough volume to get to the over in this spot on Wednesday night.

James Wiseman o7.5 rebounds (-150), PointsBet

Entering play, James Wiseman has eclipsed this market number in 12 of his last 19 games, according to props.cash. Tonight, he gets an incredibly favorable matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, which rank 27th in rebound percentage and 28th in opponent rebounds per game across the last 30 days. During that time period, Wiseman is averaging 14.7 rebound chances in 15 games played. Assuming he stays out of foul trouble tonight, he should have an excellent opportunity to hit the over here.

NBA DFS Pick’em

Quentin Grimes more than 23.5 points + rebounds + assists, PrizePicks

Shoutout to my guy Justin Carlucci for the early look on this play today. Quentin Grimes has soared over this market number in five of his last six games played. In his last five games played, Grimes has played at least 36 minutes in each contest, with zero games of fewer than 14 points. Tonight, he should see extremely high volume once again when the New York Knicks battle the Indiana Pacers. Trust him to get the job done in this spot.
