Bettors have plenty of options available to join the action to wrap up the week. Below, let’s take a look at our favorite player props for Sunday.
NBA Player Prop Bets for March 13th, 2022
Dwight Powell o5.5 rebounds (-115)
PrizePicks: O/U 5.5 rebounds
Predictably, the NBA is giving bettors little clarity on the injury reports ahead of tip-off for Sunday’s slate of action. The Dallas Mavericks have already ruled out Reggie Bullock, Tim Hardaway Jr,. and Marquese Chriss, but Jalen Brunson and Dorian Finney-Smith remain questionable. If Finney-Smith is unable to suit up, the current line on “(player-popup #dwight-powell)Dwight Powell”:/players/dwight-powell-18566’s rebounds has tremendous value. In two games with Finney-Smith on the sidelines this season, Powell has totaled 7 rebounds and 12 rebounds on 11 rebound chances and 25 rebound chances. Per EdgHouse, Powell has eclipsed this number in 10-of-15 games in which he has played at least 25 minutes, and 6-of-8 games in which he has played at least 27 minutes. In both games that Finney-Smith has missed, Powell has played at least 27 minutes. Be sure to monitor the injury report ahead of the start of this one, but this could be a very strong play, depending how the injury report shakes out.
Devonte’ Graham o16.5 points (-110)
PrizePicks: O/U 16.5 points
In the New Orleans Pelicans’ most recent game against the Charlotte Hornets, missing Brandon Ingram and C.J. McCollum, Devonte’ Graham totaled 19 points on 14 shot attempts, including 10 attempts from beyond the arc. Only Trey Murphy III, off of the bench, attempted more shots than Graham in that contest. This evening, Graham gets an extremely favorable matchup against a Houston Rockets team that ranks 16th in defensive efficiency and 18th in opponent three-point percentage since the All-Star break. Graham has a great chance to cash the over in this spot.
LeBron James u29.5 points (-110)
PrizePicks: O/U 29.5 points
Few people enjoy better unders on NBA player props, but most people enjoy making money when they place wagers. LeBron James has garnered an unusual excess of media attention this past week (even by his standards), following a 56 point performance against the Golden State Warriors and a 50 point performance against the Washington Wizards. This is a perfect spot to fade the media narrative when James takes on a Phoenix Suns team tonight that ranks 4th in defensive efficiency since the All-Star break. Per EdgHouse, James has only eclipsed this number in 3-of-7 games played since Anthony Davis last played on February 16th. Take the under here, even if it feels uncomfortable.
Devin Booker o26.5 points (-108)
PrizePicks: O/U 26.5 points
Since returning from health and safety protocols, Devin Booker has fallen short of this number in each of his two games played. However, he has shot an efficient 53.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc in those two contests against respectable defenses. Tonight, Booker gets a favorable matchup against a Los Angeles Lakers team that ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency and 30th in opponent three-point percentage since the All-Star break. Expect a quick pace and porous defense to result in an over for Booker in this spot.
