Primetime Parlay: Bills vs. Bengals Same Game Parlay Picks

Bills vs Bengals Same Game Parlay

ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool simulates NFL contests thousands of times using RotoGrinders’ NFL Statistical Projections. Along with the simulations, we will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a Monday Night Football same-game parlay for the Bills vs Bengals.

Well, how about it? Monday Night Football brings us a colossal game to close out Week 17. The Buffalo Bills travel to Cinncinatti to square off with the Bengals in what is surely a potential playoff clash. Either team is still mathematically involved in the conversation for the top seed in the AFC. The Bills must win to hold off the Chiefs while the Bengals can keep hope alive in Week 18 with a win. This game should be exciting and fun and can only become more appealing with a same-game parlay ticket on FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s get to it!

Same Game Parlay for Bills vs. Bengals

The Buffalo Bills are -1.5 favorites on the road at the time of this writing on FanDuel Sportsbook. Per SAO, betting tickets are split 50/50 for this game but 86% of the betting handle is on the Bills’ side. The Bills seem to be the choice of bigger bettors.

As for the game total, we finally see a large number at 49.5 points. We shouldn’t be surprised as both offenses can score points in bunches quickly. 66% of the betting tickets chose the over while the money is closer to an even split.

Per Kevin Roth, the weather for this game seems alright. There is a chance for light rain and heavier showers toward the end or after the game is over. Heavy rain would impact the game total so we might want to circle back before locking in any bets.

For injuries, the Bills injury report has only one questionable designation with safety Jordan Poyer. Dawson Knox and Stefon Diggs will both be active despite missing some or being limited at practice throughout the week. For the Bengals, Hayden Hurst was cleared off of the injury report. Unfortunately, the Bengals lost their RT La’el Collins last week to a torn ACL and MCL. Already a weakness for the Bengals, the loss of a tackle will likely help the Bills get additional pressure on Joe Burrow.

With so many options for offense in this game, cutting a ticket down to four options feels impossible. Let’s see what we can drum up.

Same Game Parlay Picks – Bills & Bengals Props

Joe Mixon Over 50.5 Rushing Yards

Joe Mixon going over his rushing total was the second-highest simulated prop by ParlayIQ with a hit rate well north of 60%. The Bills’ defense is exceptional against the pass. That is not to say they are bad against the run. That said, with offensive line woes, the Bengals would be wise to feed Mixon.

Why am I nervous? Joe Mixon is so very inefficient. With games on his ledger averaging less than 2 yards per carry, I am nervous that no volume of touches can get us here. That said, the Bills have given up yards on the ground. Without La’el Collins, the Bengals might try to keep the ball on the ground to keep Joe Burrow upright. If the game is close, maybe Mixon can stockpile some yards in the first half and put us in play for a hit in the second half.

Joe Burrow Under 12.5 Rushing Yards

The highest simulated prop by ParlayIQ was the under on Joe Burrow rushing total. Burrow has flaunted his athleticism in many games this season but typically is looking to stay in the pocket and throw the football.

We are worried about a designed run here or a quarterback draw where Burrow finds daylight. The Bills’ defense is so stout, though, that Burrow will likely find it hard to evade tackles for plenty of daylight.

We again, trust the process with ParlayIQ and add this to our ticket. Since these props are approaching 70%, we are clearly on the way to a big discrepancy between our simulated price and the actual FanDuel ticket price.

Devin Singletary Over 10.5 Receiving Yards

On the Bills’ side, I get a bit nervous because of the high volume of weapons at Allen’s disposal. Allen has several receiving options, including his own legs, and other rushing options. However, ParlayIQ, per usual, likes the low over for a running back’s receiving yardage.

I do as well. Singletary has cleared this number in back-to-back games. Even with the emergence of James Cook, Singletary will be targeted enough to have a couple of cracks at this prop.

Dawson Knox Under 37.5 Receiving Yards

Finally, with all of the receiving options, ParlayIQ and myself seem to like Dawson Knox to be the odd man out. One of Allen’s targets can’t have a huge game. Knox’s ledger is a bit erratic with games approaching 100 yards as well as games where he is barely targeted. With our fourth prop, I would rather roll the dice on Knox not seeing much action rather than bet a touchdown.
