Bills vs. Titans Prop Bets for Monday Night Football
The Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans will conclude Week 6 of the NFL season on Monday Night Football at Nissan Stadium. In this primetime showdown, oddsmakers are expecting a relatively easy win for Buffalo, pricing the Bills as a touchdown favorite on the spread, as we’ve already discussed in our Bills vs. Titans preview. In the NFL, sides and totals are a saturated market, meaning that they are often completely stripped of their value by the time kickoff draws near. Instead of forcing action on big markets, NFL bettors may find better value on some player props this evening.
Let’s take a deeper look at the matchups and Bills vs. Titans player props to see where can can find value at sportsbooks for Monday Night Football.
Bills vs. Titans Player Props — Monday Night Football
Ryan Tannehill Over 236.5 passing yards (-110)
Best Book: PointsBet
Ryan Tannehill is not an elite NFL quarterback from a statistical perspective, but there are few throws on a football field that he is incapable of making. Tonight, he has a healthy Julio Jones and A.J. Brown in the lineup. Buffalo has superb defensive numbers against opposing signal callers so far in 2021, but forgive bettors for discounting stats that were built primarily against Ben Roethlisberger, Jacoby Brissett, Taylor Heinicke, and Davis Mills. Perhaps overlooked during the Bills’ strong start to the fall is the fact that they also have great numbers against the run, allowing only 3.7 yards per carry. Derrick Henry might get a little bit less work tonight than he has the last four weeks, considering that both Jones and Brown have plus-matchups against beatable cornerbacks, Tre’Davious White and Lexi Wallace.
Derrick Henry Over 95.5 rushing yards (-115)
Best Book: Caesars
In the last four weeks, Derrick Henry has run for 182 yards against the Seattle Seahawks, 113 yards against the Indianapolis Colts, 157 yards against the New York Giants, and 130 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dating back to 2020, Henry has eclipsed 95 yards on the ground in 11 of his last 13 regular season contests. Some bettors might hesitate to bet the over on both Tannehill’s passing yards and Henry’s rushing yards, but both have a chance to hit tonight without either player having a spectacular performance. Henry has been a walking 100-yard rusher since the middle of last year. This is a must-wager for bettors.
Josh Allen o289.5 passing yards (-110)
Best Book: FanDuel
The Tennessee Titans allowed Zach Wilson to throw for 297 passing yards (in overtime). Tennessee has allowed opposing quarterbacks to throw for nine touchdowns against only three interceptions so far this fall, compiling better than a 100 passer rating. In only five games, they have allowed 20 completions of 20-plus yards and six completions of 40-plus yards. Kevin Byard is capable of handling his side of the field in deep coverage, which theoretically should limit some deep ball opportunities. However, Josh Allen still has exploitable matchups in the middle of the field that should enable him to rack up yardage in this contest.
Zack Moss – Any Time Touchdown Scorer (+140)
Best Book: BetMGM
Zack Moss has a touchdown in three of the four games in which he has played this season. He has played his way into a moderate usage role, totaling double-digit touches against the Dolphins, Football Team, Texans, and Chiefs. In short-yardage situations on the goal line, Tennessee has capable cornerbacks who could make it difficult to score through the air. Conversely, the Titans have one of the worst defensive lines in the NFL, featuring Harold Landry III, Jeffery Simmons, Teair Tart, Denico Autry, and Amani Bledsoe when they line-up in base personnel. At plus-money, Moss to find the end zone could be worth a small wager from bettors on Monday Night Football.
