What kind of performances can we expect on Monday Night Football from Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, and Gerald Everett? Follow along as our NFL betting expert, Nick Galaida, breaks down his three favorite NFL prop bets for the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts will conclude Week 16 of the NFL season tonight at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday Night Football. Oddsmakers are expecting a tightly-contested affair between these two teams, pricing Los Angeles as 4-point road favorites on the spread. Instead of wager on the side or total for this single-game slate, bettors should turn their attention towards the player prop market, where there is more value ahead of kickoff.

Chargers vs. Colts Player Props

Austin Ekeler o32.5 receiving yards (-120)

Facing one of the worst coverage linebacker corps in the NFL on Monday Night Football, Austin Ekeler should be heavily utilized as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. Per Pro Football Focus, Bobby Okereke ranks only slightly better than league average at his position in coverage, with his teammates Zaire Franklin and E.J. Speed each grading worse than the 50th percentile. Though Ekeler fell short of this market number last weekend against the Tennessee Titans, he has eclipsed this number in 10-of-14 games in 2022 – take the over here.

Keenan Allen o60.5 receiving yards (-110)

On the season Keenan Allen has lined-up in the slot for 60.8% of his offensive snaps. On Monday, Allen will have an extremely favorable matchup against Julian Blackmon, who is the backup slot cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts, playing in place of the injured Kenny Moore II. Allen has been a favorite option for Justin Herbert since he returned from injury, totaling 52 targets across his last five games. Expect Allen to have plenty of opportunities again in Week 16, and for him to have an excellent opportunity to cash the over in this spot.

Gerald Everett o30.5 receiving yards (-115)

In 2022, Gerald Everett has eclipsed this market number in 7-of-13 games, including two games in which he had at least 28 receiving yards in near misses at this number. On Monday, similar to Ekeler, he will have an extremely favorable matchup against an Indianapolis linebacker corps that struggles mightily in coverage. In six of his last eight contests, Everett has received at least six targets. If Everett continues to see frequent looks from Herbert, he will have his chances to cash an over for bettors in prime time to conclude Week 16.
