Happy Autumn Equinox! Hey, did you know that it ain’t no Solstice? OK, so today brings us some split slate MLB and then the prize jewel of a Browns win over the Steelers. It’s going to be a good day! I’ll focus on the 8-game main slate which starts at 6:35pm ET, but will start with a quick Cliff Notey peek at the early 5-game slate with a 2:05 start time.
Early Slate Pitching
Joe Musgrove vs Cardinals
George Kirby at A’s
Martin Perez vs Angels

The three spend up options are not exactly thrilling, but there is not much going on past them. Joe Musgrove and George Kirby have nearly identical overall numbers, hovering around 25% strikeouts, both with excellent control. Pitch count is always a bit of a mystery with Kirby, but 80-85 has been the standard, and I see no reason to expect anything different now.
