Top DFS Picks and Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Championship Week
Carson Beck: This slate is surprisingly thin on quarterback options, and I am looking to Beck as the top spend up on the slate. This year’s version of the Alabama defense is not nearly as formidable as we have seen in previous seasons, and Auburn moved the ball well against them last week. Beck has all his primary weapons healthy and has had a strong season at the helm of the top ranked Bulldogs, so give him a look in this spot.
CJ Baxter and/or Jaydon Blue: Keep a close eye on injury reports out of Texas. They have already lost top running back Jonathan Brooks for the season, and now #2 option C.J. Baxter is also banged up. If Baxter goes, he’s a great point per dollar value option against a porous Oklahoma State defense. If Baxter sits, Blue becomes the next man up and an obvious top value.
Brennan Presley: This sets up as a game where Oklahoma State is going to be playing from behind, so I don’t love Ollie Gordon in this spot. Instead, look to the clear top wide receiver in Presley. He has 24 catches for 279 yards over the team’s last two games and is still too cheap for his current role.
