Top DFS Picks and Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Week 12
Dillon Gabriel: Oklahoma is going to be the top overall team to target in Week 12. They have a massive 41 point implied team total and a great matchup against a BYU team that has given up 37 points to West Virginia and 45 points to Iowa State in the last two games. Those are two of the lower tier offenses in the Big XII. Good luck slowing down Dillon Gabriel and company. You have to get some exposure here, and Gabriel is my favorite overall QB play on the board.
Ollie Gordon II: How much is recency bias still a thing in daily fantasy? This will be the ultimate test. Ollie Gordon was massively owned in all DFS contest formats last week, and the Oklahoma State offense laid a complete egg in a 45-3 blowout loss to UCF. After garnering Heisman buzz heading into last week, Gordon was bottled up to the tune of 12 carries for 25 yards. I am not putting much stock into that, as the Cowboys simply had to abandon the run in the second half. Look for Gordon to bounce back strong against a mediocre Houston team, and Gordon is going to have much less ownership this week.
Logan Loya: UCLA is not a fun team to project on a weekly basis, but they have to be on the radar this week as the team that is playing USC. The Southern Cal defense is a complete abomination, as they have given up at least 28 points in eight straight games. Loya is the leading pass catcher for UCLA, and he doesn’t break the bank. He is a great point per dollar receiving option against a woeful secondary.
