Top DFS Picks and Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Week 8
Jonathon Brooks: Quarterbacks will get all the media attention, but Brooks is quietly establishing himself as perhaps the top running back in college football this season. He has now logged four straight games of 100+ yards, including a couple of them in tough matchups. Texas will have a huge advantage in the trenches against Houston, and Brooks is the one running back I want to prioritize in my builds.
Kurtis Rourke: It seems odd to see Ohio on a main DFS slate, but here we are with the Ohio vs. Western Michigan game on the main DraftKings slate. Rourke is nothing special, but he’s priced all the way down at $5,700 on DK. Ohio is projected for almost 35 points in a favorable matchup, and taking the value at QB helps fill out the rest of your lineup with better options.
Roc Taylor: Taylor has quietly emerged as the WR1 for Memphis over the past few weeks. He has topped 20 PPR points in each of Memphis’ last three contests, and we have a game here that could very well shoot out. The Memphis vs. UAB game has a 64-point total and a close spread. Taylor is a great mid-range option at the wide receiver position here.
