DFS Tournament Report: Can You Diggs It? Al_Smizzle Wins DK Milly!
Heading into the Sunday Night Football game, Al Zeidenfeld was 34 points behind ncarr3128 in the DraftKings $5M Fantasy Football Millionaire with Eddie Lacy left in his flex. “I pivoted down to Diggs because I thought he was more likely to have a big game,” Zeidenfeld told us. It was a pivotal move and a great example of why using a player in the late game in the FLEX is a key strategic element in DK GPPs.
Slowly but surely over the course of the game, Diggs would grab a reception and inch Zeidenfeld closer to the top of the lead. A huge completion in the third quarter moved him into 12th place and a few plays later Sam Bradford connected with Diggs for a 20+ yard TD pass. Now he was in 3rd place and needed only a reception from Diggs to take the top spot. He would get just that on the Vikings next possession to take the lead and with no one having any lineups that could contend, it was just a matter of watching the clock tick down until he could post this on Twitter.

With a Panthers stack of Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, Kelvin Benjamin, and the Panthers DST plus big outings from Diggs and Travis Benjamin, xpac21 would cruise to the win by more than 5 points over runner-up jcm86912.

ChipotleAddict is no stranger to NFL GPP success as he took down a Milly Maker last season on DraftKings. He wouldn’t win a million today but is probably resting comfortably on the heels of six-figure payday for winning the $300 entry fee Blitz. Like Al_Smizzle, he would have Stefon Diggs in the FLEX and would edge out cylusballin by the slimmest of margins (.4) to win the contest. Despite a subpar outing from Tajae Sharpe, ChipotleAddict had a stellar lineup that included the two TD performance from the Broncos DST and solid outings from DeAngelo Williams, Jarvis Landry, and Marvin Jones. ChipotleAddict would also finish 9th in this event with cylusballin also having another finish in the top 10 (10th). It was a who’s who of DFS in the top 10 as SamENole would finish 6th, tinderella 7th, and youdacao 8th.
