Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins won a thriller on the road in their season opener and will be looking to stay perfect on the road. Mac Jones and the Patriots nearly pulled off a 16-point come-from-behind win in Week 1 but fell short on their final drive.
Ahead of kickoff, the Dolphins are favored by 2.5 points on the spread. The game total is set at over/under 46.5 points. If choosing to wager instead on the player prop market, we have three prop leans for tonight’s matchup!

Dolphins vs. Patriots Player Props for SNF
- Mac Jones u242.5 Passing Yards
- Kendrick Bourne o3.5 Receptions
- Rhamondre Stevenson More Than 23.5 Receiving Yards
Mac Jones u242.5 Passing Yards (-115), BetMGM
Mac Jones played extremely well in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, throwing for 316 yards. However, he threw the ball a career-high 54 times and faced a negative game script from the outset of the contest. Tonight, the Patriots should be able to keep this contest more competitive out of the gate, which should allow offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien to get the running game more involved in the first half. Factor in an injury-plagued offensive line and Jones likely sees his numbers regress significantly in this matchup.
Kendrick Bourne o3.5 Receptions (+112), FanDuel
Kendrick Bourne had a team-high six receptions and 11 targets last weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles. He lined up in the slot and out wide, and was used in a number of different ways within the offense. His Week 1 performance was reminiscent of his production pre-Matt Patricia, during which he had 70 targets and 800 receiving yards in 2021. Expect him to continue being heavily involved in this passing attack – this is good value at plus money.
NFL DFS Pick’em
Rhamondre Stevenson More Than 23.5 Receiving Yards, PrizePicks
Last fall, the Miami Dolphins were one of the worst defenses in the NFL against opposing running backs, ranking 26th in DVOA. Rhamondre Stevenson had six targets and 64 receiving yards in the season opener and is likely to continue seeing plenty of looks in the passing game, considering the general lack of elite weapons at Mac Jones’ disposal. Stevenson eclipsed this market number seven times last year and should be competitive at this number again on Sunday night.
