Monday’s NFL double-header will begin at 7:15 p.m. ET with a matchup between two undefeated teams – the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jalen Hurts and company have an extra few days of rest going into this contest after playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 2. Baker Mayfield and his guys will be looking to pull off the league’s most improbable 3-0 start to the regular season.
Ahead of kickoff, the Eagles are favored by 5 points on the spread. The game total is set at over/under 44.5 points. If choosing to wager instead on the player prop market, we have three prop leans for this primetime matchup!

Eagles vs. Buccaneers Player Props for MNF
- Jalen Hurts u45.5 Rushing Yards
- A.J. Brown 90+ Receiving Yards
- Kenneth Gainwell Less Than 34.5 Rushing Yards
Jalen Hurts u45.5 Rushing Yards (-115), PointsBet
Last weekend, Tampa Bay allowed only three rushing yards to the mobile Justin Fields, who has totaled 59 rushing yards and 47 rushing yards in his other two games played this fall. Linebacker Devin White, a former first-round draft pick out of LSU, has a reputation as one of the best linebackers in the NFL and does a great job containing opposing quarterbacks in the pocket. Last year, the Buccaneers defense held Dak Prescott to 11 rushing yards and Lamar Jackson to 43 rushing yards. Only Marcus Mariota, who is a run-first signal caller, managed to top this market number against Tampa Bay. The under is worth a small stab here.
A.J. Brown 90+ Receiving Yards (+178), FanDuel
In Week 2, A.J. Brown had only four catches for 29 receiving yards. His lack of involvement led to a heated exchange on the sidelines, which head coach Nick Siriani was forced to address in his postgame press conference. Though the sideline interaction was likely less consequential than the media portrayed it to be, it still goes without saying that teams want to keep their star players happy. Last year, Brown had nine games with at least 90 receiving yards. Tonight, he has a great opportunity for a bounce-back performance against a Tampa Bay secondary unit that has allowed 6.8 yards per attempt through the air so far in 2023. This alt-over has good value on Monday Night Football.
NFL DFS Pick’em
Kenneth Gainwell Less Than 34.5 Rushing Yards, PrizePicks
Kenneth Gainwell had 54 rushing yards in the season opener against the New England Patriots, but he managed only 3.9 yards per carry. He missed last week’s contest, during which D’Andre Swift had 175 rushing yards and averaged 6.3 yards per carry. Swift is the more talented running back and it was questionable that his role was as limited as it was in Week 1 when he had only two touches for the afternoon. Tonight, it is likely that Swift handles the majority of the workload out of the backfield, which could make it difficult for Gainwell to put up any kind of significant numbers – especially given that the Buccaneers are allowing only 3.3 yards per carry this year.
