Finding Paydirt: Week 11 Results
Happy Wednesday, Grinders! So, I need some help. I no longer seem able to find any touchdowns on a Sunday slate. Three weeks into this month’s contest and I have… zero touchdowns. I need to right the ship. Some of our contestants are doing just fine with one poised to run away with our season-long contest. Who scored? Who is in the lead? It is time to answer these questions.

Does anyone else want to put 1010mg on the sports betting payroll? The guy is an expert at mining touchdowns that will likely pay out good prices. With three more touchdowns, he is the first member to reach 30 touchdowns. That puts him eight touchdowns ahead of second place. He is also three touchdowns ahead of second place for this month.
I can’t even talk about anyone else. The guy is dominating. Will anyone get in his way? Should I just add his RotoGrinders premium now? Who is going to step up to the proverbial plate — in my football article?
Week 11 Takeaways
The Steelers-Browns fiasco was a really bad look for the NFL. I do think the NFL responded in good form — delivering suspensions relatively promptly. I just cannot put myself in Garrett’s shoes, at all. I think his return to the NFL — whenever that is — will be pretty interesting considering what he cost his team.
Lamar Jackson was previously 66 to 1 to win the NFL MVP. He is now +150 on DraftKings Sportsbook — just ahead of Russell Wilson. My billiards team and I engaged in a pretty hot debate about the impact Lamar Jackson has on the Ravens’ offense and team. I just do not think anyone outside of Russell Wilson is even close. Pretty amazing considering the reputation he gained last year of being a “runner.”
Do I owe Jon Gruden an apology? Last year, I was really hard on Jon Gruden, his decisions, his coaching, etc… He was 2018’s Booger McFarland — an easy target. But, are the Raiders going to make the playoffs? I will have a face full of yoke if they do.
Speaking of Booger McFarland… I am done complaining about him and his moronic comments. Nothing is more entertaining to me on a Monday Night. He is certainly more entertaining than the games that ESPN pays for. Never change, Boog.
