Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) and why?
Moneyball16: Sam Reinhart – Florida has struggled, but Reinhart has gotten a lot of playing time, he has been playing with other excellent players, and he’s been getting a lot of shots, with 9 in the playoff games and 5 in the last one.
Joda: Filip Forsberg – The Predators have been out of their element in this series, a combination of the Avs being elite and no Saros. Forsberg has no points so far but logged 47 points in 37 home games this season. He is going to be the lowest owned guy in the upper tier by far.
Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
Moneyball16: Nathan MacKinnon – He’s crushed this series. Nashville continues to be the best matchup in the playoffs. I think the Avs close this one out tonight.
Joda: Nathan MacKinnon – 4 goals on 20 SOG in this series as the Avs eye a sweep. Tough to get away from Nate in all formats.
