MLB Big Events: Punch Out Down To Heads Up Final
Another Tuesday night in the MLB means we’re treated to another night of big prize pools and major tournaments, and last night was no different. DraftKings’ $300,000 Punch Out is now down to the final two players, who will compete heads up for the $100,000 1st place prize next Tuesday. FanDuel and DraftStreet also ran qualifiers for their end-of-season championships, so let’s take a look at the big winner’s from last night…
DraftKings $300K Punch Out – Day Six

We’re now down to the final two in the $300,000 Punch Out, which will conclude with a heads-up final next Tuesday (July 8th). Moose285, last night’s 2nd place finisher, is the only RG member in the final, so we’ll undoubtedly be pulling for him next week! Wins from both of his pitchers (David Price and Ian Kennedy) along with big games from Caleb Joseph, Jayson Werth and Anthony Rendon helped to pave the way to his trip to the finals. JoshKay_Fantasy, crackmonkey83, and rayofhope were eliminated last night, but all three had impressive showings throughout the Punch Out. JoshKay_Fantasy took home $17,500 as the 3rd place finisher.
FanDuel $535 Qualifier

Quite a few familiar names on this leaderboard.. let’s start with last night’s DFBC Q winner, texas989. He’s known as fish72292 on RG, and he was led by the strong performance of David Price in Yankee Stadium. His big offensive contributors were Seth Smith, Kyle Seager and Adrian Gonzalez, who all homered and posted at least 7.5 FP’s. Ehafner finished 3rd with a Nationals stack (Strasburg, Rendon, Zimmerman, Werth), and also caught a big game from Kole Calhoun in the 2nd game of last night’s doubleheader. GrindersLive and SiriusXM host Al_Smizzle finished with entries in 4th and 9th place, and was joined in the top ten by mrhaha (5th and 7th), McJester and JMToWin.
DraftStreet DSBC Qualifier #29

Fish72292 (aka texas989) took down his 2nd qualifier of the night, and I’m sure he was sweating bullets towards the end of last night with two potential chances for $1,000,000 on the line. He outscored TwoGun by less then a point, and big games from Seth Smith and Ian Kennedy late in the night helped to push him into 1st place. Fish72292 certainly doesn’t live up to his name, as he’s been dominant on the MLB scene recently and considering he’d already qualified for the DFBC before last night, he has more then just these two bullets to hit on a million dollar first prize.. he’s certainly made a name for himself! TwoGun received three big pitching performances from Strasburg, Kennedy and Lincecum, all of whom reached double digit FP’s. Jayson Werth, Robinson Cano and Pablo Sandoval were his major contributors on the offensive end. TwoGun was joined in the top ten by three SalCaps entries, two devo1099 entries and an entry a piece from bw5126 and dinkpiece.
FanDuel $65K Monster

Another big performance from ehafner in this one, as he takes home a cool $6,000 for his 2nd place finish, which was the same entry that earned him a 3rd place finish in the DFBC Q. McJester was able to rack up three top ten finishes (two tied for 4th, one in 7th), and mrhaha also had multiple entries in the top ten (3rd and 6th). Sugewhite and hyue (aka Bjhaughey on RG) also put together 8th and 10th place entries.
