Pitchers
- Home Max Scherzer is becoming one of the highest strikeout rate pitchers in the league. He has racked up an incredible 23 strikeouts in his last 2 games. He is also a big favorite which I like. High upside tonight for Scherzer. Target
- Away Wade Davis has been pitching well for the Royals but faces on of the best offenses in the league on the road. Not exactly a recipe for success. Avoid
Batters
- Home Miguel Cabrera price tag has dropped to where you can at least contemplate taking him. I think he has a big game today against Davis. The other Tigers I am a little less confident about though, espcially Fielder with his lefty/lefty matchup.
- Away If you play on a site that rewards strike outs for batters, then the Royals bats are in play. If you play on an actual site, this is not the case.

Pitchers
- Home Miguel Gonzalez typically doesn’t give up a ton of runs, but doesn’t get many strikeouts either. Last season he was much better on the road than he was at home and even though the Jays have been slumping offensively, they still have a lot of fire power. Avoid
- Away R.A. Dickey has looked a lot more like himself in his last two starts in which he only allowed 1 earned run and struck out 11 batters. The Orioles have struggled to figure out his knuckleball and he is a solid option tonight.
Batters
- Home All of the Orioles bats have struggled against Dickey in the past and some players just can’t hit the knuckleball. I would stay away unless you can find great value.
- Away The Blue Jays have really been slumping offensively, but it’s only a matter of time before their bats heat up. I think Munenori Kawasaki is in play on most sites because of his low price tag and the fact that he is leading off. Joey Bats is also in play, he is a threat to homer every night.

Pitchers
- Home Did everyone see the game Matt Moore had against the Yankees last night? Expect an eerily similar performance from David Price tonight. The Yanks have too many left handed bats in their lineup and Price is going to get them swinging.
- Away Phil Hughes had his first good game of the season in his last start, but I’m typically not a fan of taking struggling pitchers on the road, especially when they are big underdogs. Avoid
Batters
- Home The Rays bats are in play today. Ryan Roberts and Yunel Escobar have both been hot lately and are dirt cheap if you want to save some salary cap. I also like the matchup for Matt Joyce, he is 5/11 with 4 XBH’s against Hughes.
- Away Like I said, I think the Yankees are going to have an uphill battle against another dominant lefty tonight. Just say no.

Pitchers
- Home Mr. Dan Back called Tony Cingrani to have a big game in his first start and he went out and did just that. Granted it was against the Marlins, but you have to think that he will have less nerves now that he has a start under his belt. If the price is right, take him against the Cubs tonight.
- Away Carlos Villanueva has been very good for the Cubs so far this season with only 3 earned runs combined in his first 3 starts. However, I don’t love the matchup for him against the Reds. They have a lot of left hand bats that love to see right hand pitchers.
Batters
- Home I seem to have the Joey Votto curse, I didn’t play him over the weekend when he was hot and then I played him last night and he tanked. I will stay away from him today for you guys, take him and thank me that I stayed away. Shin-Soo Choo also is in play.
- Away Tough to predict what the young rookie Cingrani is going to do, but he looked sharp in his first start and I think you have to expect that again tonight. Starlin Castro is the only Cub that I am considering.

- OU 6.0
- Favored L.A. Dodgers -133
Pitchers
- Home Jonathon Niese was very good at home last season and has pitched much better there this season as well. He has a decent matchup with the Dodgers, but is not favored and may have a tough time getting the win against Kershaw.
- Away Clayon Kershaw got knocked around by the Padres of all teams in his last start. You have to like him to bounce back against the Mets. And look at this over/under, it’s only 6 runs. Definitely target Kershaw.
Batters
- Whenever I see an over/under this low, that’s a red flag not to take any hitters from that game.
