Pitchers
- Home Kevin Slowey is pitching the best he ever has in his career and it’s not even close. However, I am still not sold on him. He has a good matchup tonight against the Mets, but I just can’t bring myself to waste a roster spot on him, but he is in play if you dare take him.
- Away Jeremy Hefner has not looked very sharp this season. He has an ERA over 5 with a WHIP of 1.476. While the Marlins will be without Stanton, I just don’t think Hefner will strike out enough batters to be worth taking.
Batters
- Home Stanton is out for the Marlins which makes their offense even more pathetic, but it does however give us a chance to get some real cheap value plays that will be hitting in the heart of the lineup. I think Ruggiano, Pierre, Polanco, and Mahoney are all in play and you can probably take them all for the same price as one expensive hitter.
- Away I’m not sold on Slowey, but I am also not sold on the Mets offense. John Buck hit a HR last night and is always capable of hitting another one tonight. But David Wright is the play here, he got a night off last night and should be ready to go tonight.

Pitchers
- Home Before even checking the whether, I can tell you that there is going to be a howling wind heading towards the outfield. This game would usually be at 7.0 for the over under. Anytime a line is this high, stay away from the pitchers even if it would appear that Edwin Jackson has a solid matchup.
- Away Over/under of 10 means stay away from Edison Volquez today.
Batters
- Home This is the game to load up on players. Huge over/under with the potential for a lot of HR’s. Anthony Rizzo, Starlin Castro, Alfonso Soriano, Wellington Castillo, and David Dejesus are my favorite Cubs.
- Away For the Padres, this is the first time this year I am considering taking more than one of them. They are all in play so check the lineup and find the most valuable hitters.

Pitchers
- Home Yu Darvish is looking like the play of the day. He has been striking out everyone lately and a matchup with the White Sox is a good one. Target
- Away I’m never a fan of taking big underdogs for my pitchers so even though Jose Quintana has had a couple of solid starts, I am avoiding him, especially since it’s in Arlington.
Batters
- Home Target the right hand bats of the Rangers tonight against the lefty Quintana. Nelson Cruz, Adrian Beltre, and Ian Kinsler are the picks to roll with.
- Away Do the smart thing here and just avoid the White Sox today.

Pitchers
- Home James Shields gets to face his old team for the first time and I expect him to be ready. He is going to want to prove something tonight and I think he tops his season high strikeouts of 8. Target
- Away Alex Cobb has pitched like an All-Star so far this season. He is 3-1 with a 1.82 ERA and a 1.062 WHIP, those are some pretty impressive numbers. I think he pitches well, but falls just short of getting the win.
Batters
- Home I’m not a huge fan of any hitters from this game, especially considering the SD/CHI game that you can load up hitters from. But if you have to take a Royal, go with Eric Hosmer.
- Away Shields is going to want to prove something against his old team. I don’t think it will bode too well for the Rays.

Pitchers
- Home Marco Estrada is a high K rate per 9 inning pitcher, but his K’s have dropped off a little bit this year. He is always priced well below the ace pitchers which makes him a great GPP candidate because he has big upside. Definitely in play against PIT.
- Away James McDonald has been tough to predict this season and he is typically a much better pitcher at home than he is on the road. For my money, I think there are better options out there. Milwaukee is too good of an offensive team at home.
Batters
- Home Ryan Braun, Ryan Braun, Ryan Braun, remember that tonight when you are setting your lineups. He is 6/13 with 3 XBH’s and 10 RBI’s against McDonald. I think he takes him deep tonight. Lucroy and Weeks are also in play here as I think McDonald struggles.
- Away Estrada has owned PIT in the past and the Pirates are known for games where their offense forgets to show up. Avoid
