What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – PIT -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jorge De La Rosa has been awesome at home with a 2.65 ERA. His K/9 totals there are also a little better, although they are still on the low side of things. He is in a great spot to produce today because PIT is not a very good road team and they could be without McCutchen for a second straight day. PIT is batting .240 on the road, .254 versus left-handers, and .266 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Francisco Liriano is making a start in Coors Field which is always a cause for concern. Outside of that, there is absolutely no reason not to take him tonight. All of his numbers are elite and he catches a struggling COL team that has just a .143 BAA versus him. COL is batting .277 at home, .252 versus left-handers, and .221 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
Batter Grind Down
- Home Troy Tulowitzki is batting .298 versus left-handers and .379 at home. Michael Cuddyer is batting .357 at home and hits left-handers at a high average as well. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away De La Rosa is holding left-handers to a very low .209 BAA so forget about Alvarez and Jones. Andrew McCuthcen (if he plays)is super hot with 36.5 fp and has good BvPs versus De La Rosa. RG Stack Rating 2

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – ARI -185
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Patrick Corbin is already a great play with his 1.50 ERA and .192 BAA at home. He is an even better play now that David Wright landed on the DL. NYM is batting .247 on the road, .243 versus left-handed pitching and .227 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
- Away Nothing about Jeremy Hefner ‘s numbers excite me. They are neither good nor bad. The only thing that is noticeable is that he has allowed 20 HR in 22 starts and he has been trending downward the last couple of months with a 5.51 ERA in July and 4.50 ERA so far this month. ARI is batting .254 at home, .254 versus right-handers, and .284 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Martin Prado, Cody Ross, and Paul Goldschmidt have all been hot for ARI. Hefner is struggling with the HR so everyone is worth a look. Wil Mieves is batting .383 versus right-handed pitching. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Corbin is holding left-handers to .180 BAA so you can ignore Davis and Murphy. Josh Satin normally gets the start versus left-handers and is batting .390 versus them if you want a nice value play. RG Stack Rating 1

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SEA -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home I cannot be the only one looking at Joe Saunders and his home ERA of 3.62 and thinking that this look like a great place for a matchup play versus a lackluster MIL team. Saunders has been reliable since June. He will not get you many Ks so his upside is capped but he will be cheap and can offer great value in a multiple pitcher format tonight. MIL is batting .246 on the road, .260 versus left-handers, and .194 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Kyle Lohse is a good pitcher but you can pretty much just think of him as Jacob Turner now that his team is without Ryan Braun and has given up on the season. Turner’s numbers are actually better and I would even argue that MIA offense is now better as well. SEA is batting .252 at home, .253 versus right-handers, and .291 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Michael Saunders, Justin Smoak, Humberto Quintero and Kendrys Morales have all been hot for SEA. Michael Morse is 7-15 with1 HR versus Lohse. Humberto Quintero is 6-16 with 1 HR versus him as well. Raul Ibanez is 9-33 with 3 HRs. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Joe Saunders is allowing right-handers to bat .324 versus him. Kris Davis, Jean Segura, Carlos Gomez Jonathan Lucroy, and Caleb Gindi are all batting for a high average versus left-handers. Davis has been hot over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 3

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 6.5
- Favored Team – TAM -133
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home In his last 9 outings, Chris Capuano has thrown an average of 83 pitches a start. That is worse than what you could expect form a spot-starter. He has been pretty average over those innings as well. An average pitcher that throws limited IP is worthless in daily fantasy. It only makes matters worse that he faces a TAM team that destroys left-handed pitching. TAM is batting .262 on the road, .284 versus left-handers, and .277 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
- Away David Price got off to a rough start to the year bit his ERA has been steadily decreasing since July and it is now down to a very respectable 3.36. He has gone through some pretty tough opponents in the process of getting there. LAD has been hot lately but they have also faced a high number of weak pitchers on the road where the bat 20 points better. LAD is batting .255 at home, .261 versus left-handers, and .278 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home LAD best hitters are lefties since there is no Hanley to fall back on. Who from LAD would you like to take? RG Stack Rating 1
- Away Sam Fuld, Evan Longoria, Kely Johnson, James Loney, Ryan Roberts, Will Myers, and Yunel Escobar are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. RG Stack Rating 6

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – BAL -128
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Ryan Vogelsong was a gas can before hitting the DL. He did not have all that great of year last season either. Taking a pitcher in his first start since returning from the DL is a risky proposition. Anyway you look at it BAL looks like a good option today even in this pitcher’s park. BAL is batting .273 on the road, .275 versus right-handers and .269 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
- Away Chris Tillman catches the coldest team in baseball in a pitcher’s park. He is easily a target today. SFO Ks at one of the lowest rates, though, but he is a near lock to get the win. SFO is batting .260 at home, .263 versus right-handers,and .235 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home I had faith in them yesterday and they let me down. SFO only scored 4 runs against a very weak opponent. They might peak my interest when they face off against a lefty but I am avoiding them until they break out of this massive slump they are in. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away I cannot find a number from Vogelsong that looks attractive so consider everyone worth a look. The low OU by Vegas makes me cautious about going all in with BAL, though. RG Stack Rating 6
