What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – WAS -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Wade Davis has been okay at home and WAS is not that good of a team on the road so he is worth considering in a multiple pitcher site but nothing about him excites me. I would rather gamble on a player with more upside. WAS is batting .229 on the road, .252 versus right-handers, and .282 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Jordan Zimmermann has struggled on the road all year with a 4.23 ERA and .250 BAA. He has been horrible since the All-Star Break with a 6.75 ERA and .304 BAA. He is already a player who has limited upside because of K/9 totals. If he is not pitching well then there is no need to even consider him. KAN is batting .255 at home, .257 versus right-handers, and .246 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Zimmermann has looked real bad as of late so everyone is worth a look. Alex Gordon and Eric Hosmer have been hot for KAN and get the righty lefty splits in their favor. Emilo Bonifacio has been hot as well and has decent BvPs versus Zimmermann. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away Wade Davis has struggled against left-handers on the year with a .343 BAA. Byrce Harper has been hot with 25.75 fp over the last week. Jayson Werth and Ryan Zimmermann have been hot as well. RG Stack Rating

COL vs R | COL BvP | MIA vs R | MIA BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – MIA -190
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jose Fernandez is as good as any other pitcher in the league when he is at home. He has a 1.40 ERA and .170 BAA in MIA. He draws an easy opposing pitcher and had a solid performance against COL earlier this year. COL is batting .249 on the road, .267 versus right-handers, and .268 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
- Away You might think that Jeff Manship might be worth a gamble against the league’s lowest scoring offense. However, that 7.80 ERA did not come against tough opponents at home. He earned that mark against PHI, SDG, and NYM. 2 of those 3 starts were on the road. MIA is batting .234 at home, .233 versus right-handers and .250 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Manship is allowing left-handers a .316 BAA. Logan Morrison and Christian Yelich are in play. Giancario Stanton has been super hot and has hit all but 3 of his HRs this year at home. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away If I were taking a player from COL it would be the big bats of Trpy Tulowitzki, Wilin Rosario, and Michael Cuddyer. All three have been productive for COL over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 2

MIL vs R | MIL BvP | CIN vs R | CIN BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – CIN -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Bronson Arroyo has been great at home this year with a 3.15 ERA. He has gotten even better since the All-Star Break with a 3.32 ERA and he has a 1.26 ERA versus MIL on the season. MIL is batting .249 on the road, .251 versus right-handers, and .285 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Wily Peralta had that great July and everyone jumped on board with him. He is back to his old ways here in August with a 4.82 ERA and .250 BAA. CIN takes advantage of shaky right-handers and are a very good home team. CIN is batting .251 at home, .250 versus right-handers, and .264 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Shin-Soo Choo has a .313 batting average at home. He is also the hottest Red with 22.5 fp over the past 7 days. All of the big left-handed bats are enticing. I also think a hot Brandon Phillips is worth a look. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away MIL does .289 BAA versus Arroyo on the season. Arroyo has allowed left-handers to bat .275 against him. Scooter Gennett and Logan Schafer look like interesting options. A red hot Khris Davis with 33.5 fp over the last 7 days looks like a great play as well. RG Stack Rating 3

NYY vs L | NYY BvP | TBR vs L | TBR BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – TAM -170
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Do you remember when David Price versus CC Sabathia was considered a marque matchup? Price is a strong -170 favorite in this game. Price has been not as good at home as he has been on the road. He has only 1 win on the year at home. He has been great since the All-Star Break, though, with a 2.23 ERA and I do not think CC survives this one. NYY is batting .240 on the road, .250 versus left-handers, and .279 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away CC Sabathia is having a down year and none of the splits favor him todat. He has a 5.66 road ERA. He has a 7.86 ERA since the Break. He is allowing right-handers a .282 BAA and TAM is a good home team that crushes left-handed pitching. TAM is batting .263 at home, .280 versus left-handers, and .275 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home If you told me a year ago that I would be recommending a stack versus CC Sabathia then I would have thought you were crazy but here we are. Stack away! “Evan Longoria(player-profile)”:/players/Evan_Longoria-10426’s 19-50 with 6 HRs is playable either way. RG Stack Rating 8
- Away Mark Reynolds is 4-24 with 3 HRs versus Price. Eduardo Nunez is 7-22 with versus him as well Alfonso Soriano is crushing left-handed pitching since joining NYY. RG Stack Rating

TOR vs R | TOR BvP | HOU vs R | HOU BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – TOR -125
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Brad Peacock has been great since his call-up. He is has 20 Ks in 19.1 IP with 6 ER and 11 Hits. He plays for the Astros so he is a risky play but those are some decent numbers. TOR is batting .247 on the road, .255 versus right-handers, and .259 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Chien-Ming Wang makes his triumphant return to the big leagues versus HOU. He will be cheap and has value if you can get him. We seen more than 1 bad pitcher this year put in 8 K or more performances against this club. HOU is batting .232 at home, .237 versus right-handers, and .308 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Matt Dominguez has been super hot with 31.5 fp over the past 7 days. Robbie Grossman, Brett Wallace, and Jason Castro have been productive as well. Chen is allowing left-handers a .438 BAA and 1.157 OPS so those 3 are worth a strong look as is Justin Villar. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away The OU is set at 9 so everyone is worth a look. I like Adam Lind and Brett Lawrie the best. Rajai Davis has been hot with 22.5 fp replacing Jose Bautista if you are looking for value. RG Stack Rating 5
